In life there are certain moments that etch into our brains. As if carving permanent imprints of the memories we beg it to forget. Unforgettable and unforgotten.

Hiding slowly got easier. Drowning himself in booze, to the point of passing out. Showing up to work with the strong smell of alcohol on his breath.

They were worried, to say the least. The people he loved were watching him kill himself. He had lost everything his girl, his perfect life. But there is one thing his brain never failed to get rid of. That second in time.

"You know, you and I went through the exact same thing that day"

"What you two went through and what you carry is real and if you ever need my help carrying it all you have to do is ask."

"You know when Jay came back I wasn't there for him, the only friend he had was mouse who believe it or not dragged him home when he was going through..."

The unimaginable pain was all coming back. He no longer had his support, his person to lean on. He was done. Done trying to hide, done with everything. He was done.

Warmth overtook his body as he swallowed the last of the pills. He laid his head on the back of his bath tub as the meds took effect. Now he just needed to wait. To wait for them to stop his heart, for his lungs to stop ventilating his burly body. For it all to go away.

It was finally over, the pain of the memories, not having his girl, it was finally going to end. His baby blue eyes fluttered closed and all the pain went away. He now laid unconscious in a pool of vomit as his life, his memories faded away.

"Jay? Jay? Hank said you had a rough day at work so the team and I are taking you to Molly's." The faint voice of Will called out for his brother. Will didn't know how bad it was. How badly he wanted the pain to go away.

"Jay open the door or we'll kick it down," Adam said pounding his fist against the door. The whole team had decided to go to Jay's apartment knowing how hard this recent case hit him. All they wanted was to make sure he was okay. "Jay you're kinda freaking me out here. Look you don't have to come just open the door so we know you're okay."

"Jay?"

"Come on man open the damn door," screamed   Antonio pounding his fist against the door like Adam had done just moments before.

"Kick it down he's freaking me out." Said Will and with that Jay's apartment door was kicked to the ground as the team entered his apartment in search of their currently missing friend.

"Maybe he's not home?" Said Kevin though it was more a question then a statement. At that moment they all noticed the small line of light peeping from under the bathroom door. Will told the rest of the boys to stay back and he slowly approached the door.

"Look your freaking us all out. I don't care if your taking a dump I'm coming in, the rest of the guys are over there so don't hate me in a second." Wills hand connected with the handle of the door and opened it slowly peering inside to not let the boys see anything.

The rest of the team watched in horror as Will's  usually happy face turned of that to pure terror. He burst open the door and crouched down to Jay's unconscious form.

"Jay, you idiot what did you take?" He asked not getting any response. "Someone run down to my car and grab the med bag in there." He yelled throwing Antonio the keys. He returned about a minute later with the leather bag in him hand. "Get his shirt off. " demanded Will as he pulled Narcan into a syringe. He stabbed the needle into Jay's muscular arm and pushed the meds in.

"Jay you with us?" Asked Adam as his blue eyes fluttered open.

"What the hell."

"Jay what the hell did you do?" Asked Will pulling his baby brother into a hug. Jay's eyes fell to the floor. "You need to go to med and get your stomach pumped. Their going to probably put you on a 72 hour psyc hold too." Jay simply nodded and accepted the help on his way to the hospital.
