This isn't just another rape poem
This is an I'm hurting poem
This is a you hurt me poem
This is a I was 15 poem
This is a you were 19 poem
You smelled like stale bread and sweat
I laid on your chest and started to drift
Your hand slowly made it's was down my body
As your other gripped my face to keep my mouth shut
My white cotton underwear stained crimson
Because of your touch
As tears left my eyes making rivers in my cheeks you kicked me out from your car
Because it's an inconvenience when I don't say thank you
Why do you need a thank you when I can't even say this poem too loud because I might trigger the person next to me
This poem needs to be titled trigger warning because even my cries didn't make you stop
Trigger warning because even reading this out loud makes my heart start to race and my fingers start to tingle
Trigger warning because to you no meant harder
Trigger warning because I can't eat subway without thinking about you
Trigger warning because the sounds of trucks make me cry
Trigger warning because I can't trust men ages 18-21
Trigger warning because to you all stop ever meant was go
