ZOEY'S POV
"Jai, thank god for you picking me up!" I cheered, as Kaylee and I stepped out of the school hates and into Jai's car. He nodded simply and we pulled out of the parking lot.
We pulled up outside of my house, and I reached for the door but Jai kept it locked. I tried again, bbut he stopped me. Kaylee was already sitting on our front porch, with a very worried expression on her face. I mouthed to her that I owuld be fine, as Jai grabbed my hand.
"Zoey... Please.. Tell me why you aren't eating?" He said, his voice cracking, and his eyes welling up with tears. I knew this was coming. I knew I would have to face it at one point. I shrugged, and I could practically feel the anger radiating off of him.
"Don't f**king tell me you don't know, when we all know you know!" He yelled, slamming his hands on the steering wheel.
"Jai, look. The reason I do it is simply because I feel unloved, and I know if I lose weight, guys will actually pay attention to me." I weakly said. He quickly grabbed me and pulled me in a hug.
"Guys already do pay attention to you! Hell, Daniel and James already talk about you non stop! Your beautiful the way you are, so please don't let anything or anyone change that." He said, and I nodded.
I just tod Jai that I would eat... What a bunch of bull s**t...
