~KAYLEE'S POV~
Zoey got out of the car and put her stuff inside the house. I asked Jai to drive to my house. He simply nodded yes. Zoey, Jai, and I got in the car. I could feel that things were between Zoey and Jai so I decided to let them cool down by not talking. Once we reached my house, Zoey and I got out.
Zoey had changed out of her uniform at her house so I went upstairs and showered. Zoey was always welcome at my house so she made herself at home by not even asking about anything. She turned on our Wii and started watching Frozen on Netflix.
I got of the shower and changed. I put on white sweatpants with "DANCE" written in pink on the leg. I also put on a tank top the same color pink as the word "DANCE". I put my hair into a fishtail braid. I walked downstairs. As I walked into the kitchen, I looked at the clock. An hour had passed since we got home. In 5 minutes Mahogany would be home.

~5 Minutes Later~
"Kaylee! Im home!" Mahogany yelled.
"Hey M! Zoey's here too!" I shouted back.
"Oh. Hey Zoey! Kaylee, did you get dinner from the store like I asked you to?" Mahogany asked me. Crap! I forgot! I knew we had frozen dinners in the freezer though......hmmmm
"Ummmm.....yeah!" I replied. Zoey gave me a questioning look. When Mahogany turned her back, I mouthed "I'll tell you later". She simply nodded and didn't bring it up again. I knew I could count on her for things like this. I turned around and went to the freezer. I pulled out the frozen dinners. I had bought them so Mahogany did not know they were there. That was a really good thing at this moment of despair. Mahogany took the dinners and heated them up. I could smell the nice aroma of spaghetti and meatballs wafting from the microwave. Zoey was fidgeting in her seat. I gave her a knowing look. She wanted food.

The food was done. Mahogany took out the spaghetti and meatballs and then put her fettucine alfredo in the microwave. I grabbed a bowl and a fork. I scooped out the smallest bit of spaghetti and meatballs. I pushed the bowl in front of Zoey. She gobbled it up.
When we were all done eating Mahogany said "Girls, I have something to tell you. Please come here and sit on the couch.
We both went directly to the couch because she had on her serious face which she rarely ever has on.
"Girls. I know this may be hard for you but...." Mahogany paused sobbing. We knew it had to be something serious. We shifted uneasily glancing at each other. Mahogany had her head in her hands. Her red curls bouncing everywhere,
"WE'RE GOING TO MAGCON TOMORROW!!!!" Mahogany looked up and shrieked. Apparently, she had been fake crying the entire time. Zoey and I jumped up and grinned wildly. My braid flounced up and down. Zoey texted Jai about it.

To Jai🐵: Kaylee and Mahogany
From Jai🐵: Oh. Ok.
"I can go!!!!" Zoey yelled. We danced around some more. Then Jai texted her telling her she had to come home and pack.
