Many years ago....

"I will bless you abundantly. Your descendants will rule over all the earth. They will be as much as the stars in the sky and the sands on the beach."

The I am that I am had told Aiden these words many years ago. The Old man didn't understand how I am would perform this task but he was the most powerful being in the entire universe.

Aiden was privileged to hear about him and even have a relationship with him. I am had the power to write and rewrite the entire destiny of a man. No other being could contend with him.

He had spoken and so shall it be.

Present day....

The hospital was in frantic disarray. The wife of the worlds richest and most powerful man was in labour. The doctors, nurses and even the owners of the place didn't want to be held responsible for her passing on because it didn't look like she was going to make it. No one wanted a a case with the McCannon family. Their wealth, power and connections was hereditary.

"Move out of the way!" Doctor Patrick yelled at the top of his lungs as he assured his coworkers to push Rebecca McCannon towards the labour room.

"I need every doctor, specialist, nurse, surgeon in fact, every one whose job is related to child bearing in Room 251 right now!" He informed a young nurse and she scurried away to deliver the message.

He was the expert in child bearing. Every one who was anyone worth listening to came to him when their wives water broke. When Isaac McCannon showed up in his hospital today, he was more than happy to take care of Rebecca's labour situation. He was very sure that he could pull this off.

Right now, he wasn't so sure.

Rebecca McCannon was in excruciating pain. In fact, she could not describe how she felt. It was like the third world war was happening right inside her stomach. How can one child possibly wreck this much havoc inside of her. When her mother told her that labour pains were indeed painful, she never ever imagined something so severe. She would forever remember this feeling every time of her life. Her only hope was that she made it through this process to see the end result. Her child.

The doctors entered the labour room and locked the door, preventing Isaac from entering inside. He wanted to be with his wife more than anything. He had to comfort her. He never knew it was going to be like this. He expected a little tummy ache and boom the child is born. But this was something he had never seen before. What made him scared was that he also saw the doctors panicking and heard some of them say how they had also never seen such pain before. He prayed to the only God he knew, The I am that I am.

Inside the room. Rebecca decided to ask the God of her fathers what was happening inside of her. He knew everything. He would know. She shut her eyes and in her pain she asked him in her heart.
"Why is this happening to me?" She queried.

She heard his reply so quickly she even felt his presence in the room. He surely never failed her.

"Two nations are in your womb and two peoples within you will be separated. One people shall be stronger than the other. The elder shall serve the younger." He replied.

She understood what was now going on. She was going to give birth to two children. It had never happened before. This was going to be newsworthy. As news worthy as her labour, as news worthy as her wedding.

"You have to push ma'am." The nurse told her.

She pushed with all her strength, she pushed like she had never ever done before. She had actually never pushed a living thing out of her body before. She pushed with all her might and that was when the head of the first child came out.

Doctor Patrick screamed in victory - he thought it was over and shock - he had never seen this kind of child before in all his years of child bearing.  He thought it was over. His team began to celebrate the success of a safe but strange delivery.

He wondered if the redness and roughness of the child's skin was perhaps the cause of the strange labour.

"One more!! There's one more child inside!!" A male nurse screamed, alerting the jubilant doctors and nurses.

"Oh. My. God. Two children in one delivery? This has never happened before." Murmurs rang out. They returned to their positions and helped Rebecca continue the process.

The second child came out with his hand holding his brother's leg firmly. They were fighting in there alright.

The cry of newborn babies filled the room. The nurses took the twins and cleaned them up

In that moment, every aorta of pain that Rebecca felt was completely forgotten. She had done it. She successfully gave birth to the worlds first set of twins. She laughed. She shed tears of joy. She felt fulfilled.

When she held her children in her arms, she saw that the first child was red. With red hair all over. She named him Edward. She named the second child James. She knew that he held his brother's leg firmly while coming into the world. He was going to be a little surviver. Her little surviver. She loved him already. She knew he would grow into a God fearing man. He was already momma's boy.

Her husband came into the hospital room to see her. His lips turned up into a beaming smile. He was now the proud father of two sons. He held them in his arms and laughed. He noticed the red haired boy. He was charming in every aspect. He was going to be the kind of man that commanded respect when he entered a room intentionally or not. The kind of boy that will inherit his entire empire. His first son. He loved the red boy already. He loved Edward already.
