Humming

I sit here and think

I listen to the playlist

The lyrics going over and over in my head

The guilt is eating me

But I'm starting to like this pain

I see your smile in everything

There's so much I want to tell you

Yes it was about you

I know I may be pushing you away

But this is all I know

I only know how to feel this way

you're out of reach

But your in reach

I close my eyes

I think of my breathing

Out

In

Out

Open

Close

I look around

And listen

To the cars passing

To the music humming

I hope you're having fun

And I hope you're smiling

The guilt is eating me alive

But at least you're happy

Your happiness is first

And I still feel like I can breathe

So isn't that a good thing?
