Asriel hissed with satisfaction unsheathing his claws as he was coming towards Frisk showing his scarred face " Your Pathetic not fighting she cat?" He spat as he got closer. Frisk backed up until her back paws hit the end of the stone she was cornered. Asriel was about to pounce when a brown flash of fur hit the massive black and white Cat. The brown pelt was Cory pushing back the cat into the raging river. Despite Asriel's size Cory was still pinning the tom down slashing with his claws. Frisk looked at her new clanmates especially Sans who looked at everyone else " what are you mouse brains doing my apprentice is saving our lives we should help him" Sans meowed as he sprung into battle to help him. Then Undyne the Caveclan deputy sighed then jumped into battle then Asgore bowed his head and Frisk ran torwards asriel she snarled as she jumped onto his back and dug her claws into Asriels pelt But asriel threw her off as she hit the ground then Asriel pinned her down slashing at her muzzle. Pain seared as she felt her ear tear blood dripped down her face as she remembered what to do she unsheathed her claws and raked her claws against asriel's belly then asriel's weight was off of her to her surprise Cory was holding Asriel down. " go I'll hold him off!" He hissed as sans meowed " Cory We don't have time left the tunnel is going to Collapse I can't leave my apprentice." Sans meowed. Then Asriel threw him off Cory flew as he hit the ground but landed on his feet then he sprung at Asriel But Asriel locked his jaws around his collar and yanked it ripping it off his neck then Cory jumped onto him and they rolled around snarling and becoming a fighting ball then they were going torwards the river . Frisk thought that Cory was going to drown but she realized that he had a plan. " what is he doing" Undyne hissed " he's going to drown himself". " wait Cory can swim he has a plan" Frisk meowed. But then Cory got out of Asriel's grasp and stand at him, but a yowl came from the two Frisk looked again to see what happened she then gasped with horror as Asriel's sharp claws slashed Cory throat following blood spraying out of the wound as Asriel pushed him into the river but Cory clamped his jaws around Asriel's leg and pulled him into the river with him. Blood stained the water as Sans ran towards the river then the Caveclan patrol watched as the bubbles rose to the surface.

Cory felt his paws weaken as he sliced Asriel then started Swimming a voice echoed in his head ". Don't give up this is not how your destiny will end" " Oak?" Cory thought as he swam through the water his vision was blurry and his neck was in pain and bleeding badly then Asriel pulled him under Cory raked his claws into his pelt and pulled him away and started swimming he was getting weaker and weaker as he fought Asriel whos hits were stronger as they wrestled Cory got out of their grip and paddled to the surface of the river then his head burst out of the water which his blood was still staining the water he paddled to the shore trying not to fall into the water.

Frisk saw a brown head out of the water which was paddling towards them. Frisk readied herself ready to pounce into the water and save him she went into the water her fur soaking she paddled to Cory " Cory hang on me" she said as she put him on her back paddling to the shore when she got to the shore Alphys ran over to him trying to put Cobwebs on the gaping wound. Cory's green eye were cloudy and his ears were terribly shredded. " Cory stay strong please I need you" she whined as Cory's paw went to her cheek
" no Frisk leave without me I'll be in another place now it's part of the prophecy" he meowed
" Cory no this is your final life and you can't lose it" Frisk yowled filling her eyes tear up as she wrapped her tail around Cory and sink her chin into keeping him warm " Frisk i don't have much time but I love you" then Frisk curled around him " I love you too" then he was still. Frisk was still with shock and tapped her paw on his tail which didn't move " Cory?Cory!! Noo" her eyes were tearing up as She felt warmth around her Asgore, Undyne and Toriel were conforting her as she licked him by the ears.
