Moving

You finish loading your moving van with a sigh. You lived alone in Arkansas and you're very nervous about moving to North Carolina.

As the sun dips below the horizon, you decide to get some sleep before getting up at dawn.

------Time Skip-------

You finally got to your new home as midnight approached. When you went to bed, you noticed a faint humming noise. Since none of your boxes are unpacked this concerns you. You brush it off and fall asleep.

---------Time Skip---------

You wake up at 7 and decide to start unpacking.

You take a break around noon and hear a knock on the door. You realize that the neighbors are going to want to get to know and welcome you.

Opening the door, you put on a smile and say "Hello."

"Hi I'm Nancy, this is my husband Gary, and my daughter Lilly. We would like to welcome you to the neighborhood!" Nancy smiled.

"Thank you," you say shyly.
