Finn-ster and I had just finished packing up the boxes when the alarm went off, "Right on time." I said with a slight laugh. "Mrs. Peter" otherwise known as Penny, had been staying with Finn and I. She said "I feel like you guys will need someone here with you", which technically means she's here for our protection, just incase our crazy "grandpa" decides to show up again.
"Are you guys ready yet? We need to get you two to the airport... like 15 minutes ago." Penny said with a sigh. Finn looked at me and shrugged, "I thought we were right on time!" He whisper shouted at me. I laughed and grabbed my backpack and carry-on suitcase before running downstairs, "Wait what is going on!" Finn yelled down the staircase. I laughed as I entered the living room, I had a plan.
Penny walked into the living room, "Where is that brother of yours? He's going to make you miss your flight." She said with a sigh. I heard Finn coming down the stairs and my plan fell right into place, "Really?" I asked Penny and she nodded in response, just like I knew she would. "Finn set a timer and everything, he said we were right on time. Why would he do such a thing? He knows that we have to make this flight, it is very important." Penny nodded and noticed that Finn was finally down the stairs.
"Penny she tells you lies! LIES Penny! LIES! This was all Harper's fault! We might miss our flight because of her!" Finn shouted as he gave me a nasty death glare. I couldn't help but start laughing, "Penny can you believe this? He's trying to pin his mistakes on me!" I said while still looking straight towards Finn. He was about to say something more when Penny laughed and then said, "You know what save it, you guys are giving me a headache." She then walked outside and I stole a glance at my twin, he stuck his tongue out at me. "You are just so mature" I said and walked out the door.
Finn followed me outside and said, "This coming from the girl who tells LIES." I shrugged and then said, "I have no idea what you're talking about Finn-ster." I then put my stuff in the trunk and got in the backseat. Penny had a rule where neither me nor Finn could sit in the front by her because, "she needs to be able to concentrate while she drives, she doesn't want to have to listen to our music".
We made it to the airport in 20 minutes, Penny gave us each a hug and said, "Be safe guys, the world is a dangerous place as you know. If you need anything don't hesitate to call me. Good luck!" We nodded simultaneously and said, "Thanks for everything." At the same time, we looked at each other and laughed. "Gosh you guys are creepy. You know if you want people to like you in Oregon I suggest you stop doing that." Penny said with a laugh. "And on that note we should be going, thanks again for everything Penny. We'll call when we land." Finn said before grabbing his bags and looking in my direction.
I nodded at him and sighed, I could feel the tears coming. I wasn't ready to leave the town I had grownup in, the town where my parents and sisters graves were, the only place I felt close to my family. Finn could tell I was hesitant and pulled me into a hug, "It's going to be fine Harp, I promise. I'll be with you every step of the way." He whispered into my ear before letting go of me. I nodded before grabbing my bags and starting towards the airport doors, I turned and waved at Penny before walking in.
Finn and I found our way through the airport to the security line, the line wasn't terribly long but I guess Finn disagreed because he turned towards me and groaned. I laughed a little and said, "Be patient." Finn rolled his eyes at me before pulling out his phone, he looked down at his phone and then up at me and then back again. "What?" I asked. What was he doing? "Penny said call if we need anything right?" He asked looking at me.
I laughed and rolled my eyes, "You are not calling Penny because your bored." I said while still laughing a little. Finn sighed, "But she said if you need anything." He said putting emphasis on the word anything. "I'm going to take a guess and say she probably didn't mean for your entertainment." I said while giving him a look that shut him up before he could say something that would annoy me further.
