Loyalty

All of a sudden I felt myself moving, and realized that I had blacked out. Oh no, i thought, what if that guy got us, or Jeremy left me and some animal took me. I was scared to open my eyes, all these thoughts raced through my mind, as I opened my eyes, and to my surprise i saw Jeremy, panting like a dog and sweating with scrapes and bruises all over. He looked like he'd been through alot but he never left me.  He noticed i was awake, and staring at him and stopped to lay me down. Are you feeling alright?  He asked me, I groaned, what happened? i asked.  You got shot by that man, he said. I looked down to see some black cloth wrapped around my leg and realized it was from his shirt, I'm so sorry, thank you so much for not abandoning me, i thought for sure I was a gonner!  It's fine, he said. This is all my fault, and I need to get you home. What are you talking about!?!? How would some pshyo drunk driver be your fault? Just then we heard foot steps and rustling in the bushes, without warning he shoved me behind a near by tree and peeked his head to the side so he could see. It was the crazy man but he had someone with him, someone young, who kinda looked like him.   SNAP! A hidden bear trap clasped onto Jeremys ankle and startled the men, they turned around and started walking our way. Go! He said, leave me here I'll find a way to escape but you havd to go while you still can!  Any other day I would have left in a heart beat but today was different, Jeremy helped me so I'm going to help him. I started yanking at the trap trying to get it open, the men were getting closer and closer, you have to go! He said, no way Jeremy I would never abandon you, no way, no how, I said, but, he said. NO Jeremy!!! I said as I yanked on the trap, their voices drew closer and closer and I heard a trigger being pulled......
