You took the breath from my open mouth
and left me to drown.
Your lips were made of poison
but I would gladly die for a taste
Do you even remember our tangled bodies
and uneven breaths as your hands slipped into mine
and you told me that you loved me?
But alas that love turned
into broken plates and deafening screams
and broken bodies with endless means to an end.
But I swear that I still love you.
And I know you that you still d o n t.
