4: what thought to be a better day

*the next day at school*
Adrien walked into class with a sad depressing look on his face as he sat down next to Nino.
"Hey, you ok buddy?" Nino asked
"I guess." Adrien had said as he lowered his head.
Marinette watched from behind.
"I wonder what's wrong with Adrien?" Marinette whispered to Alya with curiosity.
"I don't know, but I know a girl who should talk to him after class." Alya said with a grin on her face as she looked at Marinette.
"What! No. Na-ah, no way."
"But, it might be a good thing to do I mean, you wanna know what's wrong with him. You wanna hang out with him more, ask him if he can meet you at the park after school so you guys can talk." Alya stated.
"You're right, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna talk to him."
"Yeah you go girl!" Alya said as she and Marinette fist bumped each other.

*after class*
"Ok. Here it goes." Marinette said
Marinette walked up to him as he sat down on the seat just along the wall.
"H-hey A-Adrien."
"Oh, Hey Marinette." Adrien said with a sad tone, hoping that he didn't sound to sad.
"Anyway, is there anything I can do for you?" Adrien asked.
"N-no But um, I was er wondering, if you were ok? Hehe." Marinette was very nervous.
"I guess." Adrien began to look more upset then before.
"Anything I can do to help?" Marinette was hoping for him to say yes.
"No, not unless you can go back in time and help."
"That bad?" Marinette was beginning to get worried.
"Not really. It's just, I should've known about something before I got told about it."
"May I ask what happened." Marinette asked.
"I don't really feel like talking about it, thanks though." Adrien said as he looked up at Marinette with a smile.
"That's ok." Marinette noticed that he was a bit more upset then before.
"Hey Adrien, would you like to come to my house after school, and hang out." Marinette said very nervously.
"Yeah, sure. That'd be great thanks. It's good to have a friend like you." Adrien said with a smile.
"Thanks. And it's great to have someone like you to talk to, but it's not great to have a friend sad."
"Thanks Marinette."
*bell rings*
" can't wait to spend time with you after school. See you later." Adrien said with a small sound of excitement, and walked off.
