Chapter 3

We started walking down a narrow darkened pathway to where the noirette's car was supposedly located.I fastened my footsteps as the weather was getting colder by the second.Eventhough strangely enough it wasn't even near winter.Unable to withstand the chilliness,my jaw started trembling at its own will so did my hands.I swear if I don't get to the car sooner I'll die of frostbite.

Right at the same moment,Jumin who was walking ahead of me turned his head around to check on me.I jolted back a little as a natural response before resuming my trembling state."What are you looking at?" I stuttered at my words.I was a trembling mess.Jumin only gave a disappointed sigh and started approaching me with heavy steps.Terrified of what he might do,I started taking a few steps back before ultimately stopping when he grasp me by my shoulders.

We were staring eye to eye by then.My face started to redden until it was no other than a plump tomato.What the heck is he doing.Is he gonna kill me?Cold sweats broke from my forehead.About a millisecond later he started to take off his coat.

That's when I thought I was about to get killed.

Immediately,I closed my eyes and accept what was awaited as my impending death.But it didn't came.The only thing that happened instead was a sudden warmness and heaviness on my shoulders.Slowly,I fluttered my eyes open to see Jimin's heavy coat hanging on my wide shoulders."What...."

The other male noticing the coat was loosing up ,fastened the coat securely,wrapping me tightly.By then,we were just a few centimeters to touching each other."You're freezing up,if you continue this we're never going to reach the fireworks in time."Jumin spoke up,trying to break the tension.(N/A yea as if PFFT)

"Uu-m.." I was blushing intensely.God he's way too close ,I can even feel his breath against my chest.

All of a sudden,something in my chest opened up.

We stood there like idiots for a solid minute before me ,being unable to handle what was happening,took a step backwards and proceeded to say :"Ew,it smells like cat hair and wine."I made a sour face ,letting out a fake sneeze.Jumin scoffed in response and we continued to walk.

We didn't talk at all during the car trip.Well I wasn't in the mood after the incident back there so I occupied myself by watching vehicles go to-and -fro outside of our car.Not a single space was to be seen in the tightly packed highways.I leaned closer to the window seel to spectate the sea of cars.They must be going back home to their family...I let out a breathy sigh wondering how nice it would be to have a life like that.His parents weren't bad people ,but they never really acted out their supposed roles in his life."Must be nice,huh." I whispered to myself,tapping on the window.
