Every Tuesday, Sam Winchester has been getting odd things delivered to him. At first, he this thought it was his brother teasing him for a recent fling, which never really was a fling. He hadn't truly liked anyone since Jess. Which was mostly true.

It first started out with books. Books of mythological creatures and monsters and what not. then it went to a single rose. And then two, and three, and eventually twelve. In every motel they stayed in, a rose or something would be delivered.

One night, the Winchester brothers were trying to find a pack of vamps in Memphis, Tennessee. The roses hadn't come in almost a month, but a chocolate would be in the passenger seat of the impala. Every morning. And every morning, Sam would have to throw it out before Dean saw it. The last thing Sam needed was for Dean to go full on detective to find who had broken into his baby.

"Gotten any roses lately?" Dean teased.

"No Dean, I haven't." Sam replied.

"Ooh, Sammy, you sad that your secret admirer is ignoring you?"

"Who said they were ignoring me?" Sam said, getting irritated.

Dean smiled. "Well, why don't you find out who it is the next time they come 'round?"

For once, Sam thought, Dean actually has a good idea.

"I'm going out," Sam said as he grabbed his coat,"Don't wait up."

"See you later, Sammy."Dean smirked.

Sam walked out of the motel room and towards the impala. He unlocked the back door and laid down in the seats. Being as tall as he is, he was bending his knees up to his chest. He put his arm over his eyes, and slowly drifted to sleep.

About an hour later, the sound of wings flapping filled the impala. it woke Sam up, but he didn't move. He heard the angel (or what he supposed was an angel) reach into a plastic bag and grab something out before placing it on the leather seat.

Sam sat up, his arm slowly falling to his side. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the dim light that was shining through the window, but when they did, he was surprised to find a mop of honey blonde hair sitting in the seat in front of him.

  "Gabriel?!"

"Sam! Hey, Kiddo!" The archangel jumped around to look at Sam's confused face. "What are you doing? Did Dean kick you out of the room?"

"Oh no, no. Everything's fine, I just wanted to find out who keeps leaving heart-shaped candies on the seat."

"Oh," Gabriel looked over at the chocolate, a blush creeping onto his already pink face,"Well, I just thought you needed a reward for,you know, saving the world and stuff." He looked back at Sam, his smile getting wider.

"Did you send the roses, too?" Sam asked, and he could feel his own face getting red now.

"Uh, yeah, you know, I thought they smelled nice." By this point, Gabriel looked like he had spent a little too much time in the sun.

"Gabe, what do you want?"  Sam said, an amused smile on his face. He hadn't noticed until now, but Gabriel had been slowly inching closer to Sam."What..?"

"Okay Sammitch, I have watched over you since your girlfriend died, and I feel like.. I don't know, but you always brighten my day, kiddo, and I don't want to ruin this friendship, but...I think..I think I'm in love with you."Gabriel stuttered. As soon as he said it, Sam rolled down the window and and threw a lit match onto the ground. A circle of flame erupted around the impala.

"You were gonna leave, I could see it." Sam said when Gabriel looked around confused. "You have been embarrassing me in front of my brother with roses, sneaking into his car every morning, and you still feel the need to continue doing it, without ever telling me?"

  "I-I just thought-" Gabriel started.

"You thought what, Gabriel? You thought it was cute to keep doing it, and leaving me wondering, worrying, who in the hell kept stalking me around the country? You know, if Dean finds out a damn trickster has been in his car, he would kill me!"

"Well, d-no, I didn't mean to make you angry Sam, I just thought it would be nice to leave you chocolates and roses, and I know its sort of cliche, but--"

Whatever Gabe was going to say was cut off by Sam putting a hand around the angels neck and pressing his lips to Gabes.

The angel pulled away, after God knows how long of sweet bliss, gasping for breath. "Jeez Sammy, I get all day tingly when you take control like that." He winked at the Sasquatch.

Sam chuckled. "Shut up, and kiss me."
