Time Tables

When they came into the hall, it was practically empty. They lined up with only about three people in front of them. "So Rae, what are you getting?" asked Gar. She shrugged her shoulders, "Probably a cup of tea!" They looked at her, "You don't want any food?" asked Cy, she shook her head, "What are you anorexic?" laughed Aqua Lad, she gave him a dirty look. "No, it's just I usual just have a cup of tea for breakfast!" They moved down the line, "Wait, so you've never eaten a real breakfast?!" Garfield looked shocked, she nodded, "Not even a waffle!" she looked confused, "Whats a waffle?" His face dropped, he grabbed two warm waffles from the stand and some syrup. They sat down at the same table as yesterday, he handed her the waffle and a small tub of the golden syrup. She cut a small corner off and dipped it in, they all watched her as she ate it. Her face lit up and she went back for more, "Good right!" he laughed, she nodded and kept eating. 

While they waited for the bell, they all discussed what they had for their lessons. "Hey Bee what do you have first?" asked Jayna, she checked her time table, "Er Maths!" she said disappointed, "Hey same!" she said, 

"Me too!" called Cy

"Me number after 2!" laughed Garfield. They all checked their time tables, they all had maths in the same room. "What do you guys have next?" asked Zan, "Art!" Garfield and Rachel called at the same time. "Same!" they all had the same second lesson as well. "Guy's... what about period 3 mine just has a room?" said Vixen. They all looked down and they only had a room number, it was the same for period three each day. "What room do you have?" asked Speedy. She looked down and checked, "C118!" they all had that room, well almost everyone. "I have are form room!" said Rachel, they all turned to her, "Yeah me too!" said Garfield. They all shrugged, "Well guess that's the only lesson we're not all together!" laughed Robin. "Well at least you have Gar!" They both went a little pink and they all laughed at them.

The room started to fill up, like at lunch. Millions of tired faces walked past yawning and with bed head. "Looks like we weren't the only ones who had a first night party!" chuckled Speedy. They all looked around and laughed, "What do you think that lesson is?" asked Raven. They all checked and thought for a bit, "Maybe, it's to do with your powers!" Aqua lad said finally, "But me and Rae have completely different powers!" they all thought again, "I think I know what it is now!" Gar leaned on the table, not looking happy. "What is it?" asked Rachel, he looked up at her and she knew, "Oh that!" she leaned on the table too. "What the flip, do you guy's have a flipping bond or something, what's the dam lesson!" laughed Cyborg. They both shrugged, "Trust me, are lessons are going to be completely different!" she said finally.

Rachel got up and put her rubbish away. She left the hall with out saying anything else. "Where's she going?" asked Aqua lad, Garfield got up and saw her going up stairs to the dorms. "To her room!", they all exchanged looks. "Is she upset?" Garfield shook his head, "It's hard to tell with her!" he started to follow her. He hide behind lockers and students just so that she wouldn't see him. "Stop following me Gar!" she said with out even looking back. He stopped hiding and came next to her. "How did you know I was there?" she didn't smile or frown, her face was emotionless. "I can read your mind remember!" he laughed slightly but she just kept walking. "Where you going?" he asked in a sing song voice, she teleaported away from him and to the dorm room doors. He ran after her, when he came in he found her in her room hovering over her bed, reading.

"Are you OK?" she turned away from him. "Please get out of my room!" she looked down at her book. "Common Rae you can tell me!" he sat down next to her and she moved away. "Don't call me that!" she closed the book and hugged it tightly. "What's wrong?" he touched her shoulder. "please don't touch me!" he moved his hand, "I don't want to hurt you." she whispered under her breath, but he heard loud and clear. "You won't hurt me!" he came closer to her. Tears poured down her face, "Your not safe here please leave!" He came right next to her, she looked up at him. "I'm not going until you tell me." he smiled and waited for her to speak.
