Standing Up

Sub's POV:
It was the end of the day and I rush to my locker and put my stuff up. I also grab my notebook and pen.

I wonder what Alex wants to ask me.

I dash outside to the front of the school and wait for Alex there.

"Hey, Sub!", I hear a familiar voice say. I turn around and see Max and his friends coming towards me. I can feel my heart racing and my anxiety going up.

"It's been a while since we last saw each other", he says smirking. He takes step foward. I take a step backward.

I turn to rub away but he grabs my shirt and pulls me back. I clutch my notebook tight to my chest. He pushes me onto the ground.

"Ooo, what do we have hear", he says snatching my notebook from my hands. He and his friends start to read out loud of what I wrote in my notebook.

"Alex is my crush and I love him! He's really adorable and is a really nice guy. I wish I could ask him out but I'm too scared", Max reads. Him and his friends start to laugh. I started to turn red. "Ha, you're sooo gay! You're really obsessed with Alex hm?", Mike says, laughing.

I wanted to hide and cry. "Alright boys, you know what to do", Max say, smiling.

Alex's POV:
I rush out of the class room and down the hall. Not looking were I was going, I crash it Braden. We both fall onto the floor.

"Sorry! Sorry! I wasn't paying attention", I say getting up. I help him up. "Jeez, why are you in such a rush?", he asks. "D-don't tell anyone but...I'm going to ask out Sub!", I say shyly.

Braden smiles. "Well good luck!", he says.

I walk outside of the school and see Max and his gang. It looked like they were beating someone up. I didn't know who it was and I didn't want to get involved.

I walk a little closer and see...Sub. He was getting beat up. I could even see him crying.I could feel anger building up inside of me. I don't get mad usually at all.

"HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!", I yell. They turn towards me. Max smiles. "Well, well, well....look who we have here", he says. "If it isn't Alex Orman!" I frown. He was super tall compared to me, kinda like Denis' height.

I kick him in his leg and push him onto the ground. "O-ow! Guys do something!", he says.

They stop beating up Sub and they come towards me. I push Noah, which made him fall over and knock down Mike and Jake. I run past them and grab Subs hand.

"Come on! Let's go!", I say. We run down the parking lot to the edge of the street.

"We're safe now...", I say.
