Chapter 3. Reunion part 1

Third person's P.O.V

“Congratulations on successfully finishing the mission and retrieving Kazekage safetely back to Suna.” Tsunade congratulated the team as they entered her office to turn in the report.

“He, he. We completely beat those bad guys”Naruto exclaimed grinning.

“Stop bragging Naruto”Sakura shouted hitting the blonde on the back of his head.

“That's the power of youth!!!”Both Lee and Guy fist-pumped at the same time.

“Uh”Ten ten sighted face-palming, while Neji remained silent, wanting to get out of the room as soon as he can.

“Well, I know you are all tired and still want to check up on Kakashi, but I have good news for you, I'm sure all of you want to know as soon as possible”Tsunade announced and instantly everyone turned their attention to Lady Hokage.

“Nani, nani? What is it, Tsunade-obaachan?”Naruto pressed getting impatient. Tsunade leaned backwards in her chair, lacing her hands together, and glancing at everyone slightly looking-down on them with cocky smirk on her face enjoying the teenager's annoyance

“Just tell us already, Tsunade-obaachan!” Naruto shouted. A vein appeared on Hokage's forehead

“If you will keep calling me that, I'll never tell you!”she shouted back. Quickly Sakura clamped a hand over Naruto's mouth beads of sweet rolling down her face-palming

“He is very sorry, Tsunade-sama”

“Yes, he is, so please tell us that you wanted”Ten Ten joined too. Tsunade-hime was silent for a few minutes, finally, she smiled

“Come in”she called and instantly doors opened and two shinobis stepped inside. The first one was male, no one had seen before, and the second- female, at whose sight happy tears wielded in everyone's, except Neji's eyes, thought a small smile found it's way on his face too

“Mao-chan”they all chorused leaping to hug their old friend, who just smiled warmly at them. That is then everyone stopped in their tracks looking aback. Mao almost never smiled and when she did it was only a small smile, a fake one or just a grin or a smirk, but not once had they seen her smiling so warmly at them.

The first one to get out of shock was Naruto, who instantly grinned back brightly and evolved Mao in a bone crushing hug, soon everyone else followed his example.

“We missed you so much, Mao-chan”Sakura said smiling trough happy tears

“Un”Lee nodded in agreement crying waterfalls the same as Guy did.

Suddenly, a light chuckle interrupted their reunion

“I told you, dear, that you indeed have friends”the unfamiliar man, who stepped in the room alongside Mao now said with a small smirk although his eyes were cold as they landed on Konoha shinobis

“Who is this creep!”Naruto shouted pointing an accusing finger at the male, who gave the blonde a look, which made him almost shit his pants.

“ My name is Ne Kitsu and I'm Mao's husband”
