FOR A RECAP OF SAKURA BLOOMS, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME AND READ TO THE END.

The song in the media is Sakura Shippuden's theme! For those non-Japanese speakers, it's pretty much translated as a song about originally feeling helpless and in the dark, and then growing stronger from the bad things that happened, eventually seeing the light. I think it is very befitting for this story (also this song slaps, so...)!

I will try to update consistently, although different obstacles such as writer's block and schoolwork may interfere. I'm not exactly sure how many chapters there will be, but it won't be as long as Sakura Blooms.

I'm super excited for this book to start, and am hoping to see all my readers from the last book! I absolutely appreciate all the support and love from you guys and I just get so overwhelmed from the vast amount that hits me.

I know writing this book will be a great journey, and I hope you'll accompany me on it! I would say I'm currently halfway through writing it at the moment. I would've written more, but I've had writer's block for most of the time I set aside for writing Sakura Shippuden, but I decided to start publishing anyway because I promised it would be ready by the end of my summer break.

And now, for a short recap of the first book:

Sakura, whose original purpose was to destroy Konoha, has now begun to see question the values Orochimaru had always taught her. Throughout the book, Sakura struggled with PTSD from the Tazuna mission and also still struggles with finding distinction between reality and what she learned from the lab, as well as opening up. The book ended with Tsunade and Shikamaru watching the footage on the night Sasuke left and were shocked to see that he kissed Sakura before leaving. With Sasuke abandoning the village, and the retrieval mission failing, Naruto leaves the village with Jiraiya and Kakashi is no where to be found, but is later seen being interrogated by T & I. And so, with all of her team gone, Sakura will have to forge her own path, as well as make new bonds with people she would never expect.
