''i can't believe it. he's actually leaving tomorrow morning,'' i said, tears forming in my already-red eyes.

''it's okay baby,'' smiled mia, ''some people just want fame so badly they'll leave somebody who love them behind.''

mia brushed through my hair angrily.

''calm down mia, i don't think it's like that,'' laughed julia, whilst patting mia on the back, ''besides, even athena said it's not like that, right?''

julia and mia looked at me, demanding for an answer.

''i-i don't know, i'm experiencing a lot of emotions right now,'' i said, not knowing who to side with.

julia and mia backed down, and remained silent. they were obviously disappointed with my answer.

they were known to fight, and if they didn't, i wouldn't've met them.

''anyways, athena, you should savour the moment. tell him you like him,'' mia persuaded, ''if he doesn't like you back, he'll leave, and you won't have to deal with the awkward looks and conversations. i mean c'mon, worse case scenario; he doesn't give you an answer and leaves you with mixed feelings.''

julia glared at mia, and coughed dramatically.

''ah no, that is possibly the worse thing you could ever do. do you even cherish your friendship with him? a simple 'i like you, zach' can ruin everything! play it safe, and just wait.''

mia rolled her eyes. ''and wait for what, huh? wait for him to get snatched by another girl?'' she asked.

''well maybe that's better than losing all friendship!''

''guys, calm down. i understand where you're all coming from, and i appreciate your concern for me. i'll see what i'll do,'' i said, trying to end the fight.

''spoken like a true godess.'' smiled julia.

mia lifted her eyebrow. ''goddess? more like queen,''

''no, that's where you're wrong, mia. athena is a goddess in greek mythology,''

''dude, this isn't greece, and we give don't care about greek mythology. shes a queen, get it right.'' argued mia.

''but it'd make more sense for her to be-,''

''guys! holy moly! please stop arguing. i can be both!'' i smiled, trying to stay calm.

i checked my phone.

''crap, hes picking me up in five minutes, i'll see y'all later!''

mia and julia waved, and glared at each other again.
