SLAP
Nico fell to the ground from Persephone's slap. She laughed at his misery.

His dad uses him as an aren boy and doesn't even visit Nico so that leaves Persephone able to abuse him however she likes. She gave Nico a few kicks to the stomach and left. Nico sat up and went to his room. Nico got into his bed and cried. Nico was hiding so many things from everyone. He wasn't even allowed to tell anyone that he was gay or he would regret it. In the morning Nico woke up to being punched in the stomach from guess who. . .Persephone. "Get up brat." Nico got up and listened to Persephone give him orders. The thing is even though Persephone grows the plants, she makes Nico take care of them. Nico went out to do all his chores but he could not get them all done before breakfast and when he walked in he saw his dad, with a crying Persephone on his lap. Hades looked at Nico and glared at him. Hades set Persephone down and started walking towards Nico. In the corner of Nico's eyes he could see Persephone smirking, Nico knew that this was not good. His 'father' walked up to him and slapped him across the face, making him go to the floor. Nico was in shock. He has not seen his dad in two freaking months and this is what he does. Then Hades yells,"Nico! Why would you kill all of Persephone's plants?" Nico was in shock. Just because he didn't finish two of his chores he gets beat because of someone who told a lie. "I didn't kill the plants. Please believe me!" "You useless worthless excuse for a son! First you kill your stepmother's plants and now you accuse her of lying! How dare you!" Hades raised his fist and slammed in down on Nico's head, sending his skull to the floor. Nico silently cried. Hades started shouting out stuff like how he could not be more like Bianca and how he could never listen to anyone. Something snapped inside of Nico and he let his arms fall, leaving him vulnerable to his fathers blows. Hades was in a little shock by this. He expected Nico to try and stop him. He looked at his son's face and realised what he had done. Hades opened his mouth to say something but before he could Nico was gone. Hades turned to see Persephone pouting and felt and anger rise in him but he just walked out.

Nico showed up at camp and passed out. People didn't really notice but a certain son of Apollo did. Will raced over to Nico and noticed his state. Will picked up Nico's slim frame and ran to the infirmary. Will set Nico on a spare bed in a room, sadly the place was full and this horrible room was the only place left. Will went to go visit his father to get some nectar and ambrosia. Nico woke up and started crying. He notice that he was in a room that looked like it has never been used. He figured that someone didn't care all that much. Nico thought that if he went to camp someone would care, apparently  not. Nico got up, almost falling from his injuries then a certain god of mischief came into his mind.

Loki.

Loki has always been there for Nico, he was like a brother, but very protective. Nico made a chance. He shadow traveled to Asgard.
