Once Sophia saw her other blonde cousin with his camera and two of his friends she freaked out. She didn't want to see him. She couldn't face him after what he had said to her. And his friends never said anything to stop him. Because that's who they all were. She knew Chance and Anthony back in Ohio as well when she would visit Jake and Logan. She knew that those three had changed a lot since they all moved to LA. She knew her cousin beforehand and she knew that the fame had gone to his head.
Sophia had texted Jonah and his reply was almost immediate saying that he could. So while she waited for Jonah Sophia went to the Starbucks that was in the airport. Yes she was you're typical white chick, although she didn't like coffee so she order a caramel hot chocolate and sat down.
Minutes later someone sat down opposite her. She looked up from her conversation with Logan to see Chance sat there. His brown hair was swept into his usual side fringe.
"Hi," he started.
"What do you want?" She replied, although it was rather rude she felt that the situation called for it.
"Jake saw you walk in here and wanted me to check up on you and make sure you were okay."
"Well tell him I'm good no thanks to him."
"And he wants to know who's picking you up."
"A friend is on his way. You can leave now. K, bye," Sophia locked her phone, stood up, grabbing all her belongings and walked away from where they were sat. Once she was out of the Starbucks she saw Jake and Anthony sat on a bench. She tried to walk away unnoticed but Jake and Anthony were both looking at her. Jake looked upset, and Anthony had a sympathetic look in his eyes. She shook her head at them, as if she were dismissing them. Jake stood up but Anthony's arm grabbed his, still looking in Sophia's eyes, he sat down. He almost seemed like he was about to cry.
Her phone bleeped. Jonah was here. She broke her eye contact from Jake. Tears forming in her eyes. The events from that day flashing in her brain as vivid as the day it happened.
Sophia walked out of the building.
Once Jonah saw her he climbed out of the car and walked over to her. Sophia fell right into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her embracing the hug. Hugging Sophia was the closest thing to heaven for him. Jonah only really started to have feeling for her when they first meet that day in Logan's apartment. But he truly wanted to take her out on a date when she had first come over to his house that day after Jakes.
Jonah kissed Sophia forehead, still holding her tight. Sophia then started to cry.
"Awh, Soph, baby, what's wrong?" Jonah was worried. He saw her cry once when those hateful comments. She was usually so strong.
Sophia looked up at him. Water spilling from her eyes.
"Awh baby, shhh," Jonah cradled the girl in his arms. He kept her close her head buried into his chest. Jake then walked out of the building with Anthony and Chance. It then dawned him what may have happened in there. But he didn't want to pry because he knew she was an extremely private person. So instead he comforted her shaking body in his arms.
About five minutes later she had calmed down enough to get into the car and for him to take her to Logan's but then she asked a question.
"Can I come over for a few hours please? I can't be around Logan right now and I need some time to cool off from him."
"Yeah sure, just let Logan know." She nodded. "Do you want to stay the night as well? I mean you have clothes and stuff you can use. The boys won't mind. And I think Christina is still there so you can finally actually meet her."
