Lance POV:

Training took forever but I finished 5 levels so I guess it was fine... Shit....it's 5 am already of course another night of no sleep. I'm fine... No I'm never fine... Why do I try....I know that Shiro hates me already. I have to get better, I need to be good enough to at least make everyone around but nothing... Nothing I do is ever good. Allura and Shiro always yell at me for every step I take. I need to get some rest...

3rd Person POV:
Lance walked to his room and shut the door as he fell to his knees in so much pain. "Maybe I'm too weak" he got up and slowly walked to the bathroom and went to his locked drawer and opened it and took out his relief. He held the shiny new sharp blade in his hands and lightly glided it on his wrists and watched the slits start to flow with blood as his body relaxed. After 15 new cuts he put away the blade he walked to his bed and layed there. Drifting to sleep.

The alarms went off and he jumped up, still tired he quickly changed into a long sleeve and pants and his shoes and walked to the control room. "Lance! You're 12 minutes late." He heard Allura yell, he put on a smile "Well Princess I can't rush beauty" everyone just gave him an annoyed look. "We are going to do some training since we will be on our way to an area with a small galra fleet targeting a small planet called Eyeckub." Allura said as she grabbed her bayard. Everyone changed into their suits and grabbed their bayards.

Hunk was on level 39, Allura made it to level 36 with Pidge. While Shiro was on level 44, but Lance still felt like he was behind being on level 34. "Lance, do us a favor and actually try this time." Pidge said with an annoyed tone. "Don't worry Pidge I got this" he said as he lifted his bayard. He luckily covered the under part of his eyes with foundation to cover his eye bags and freckles. He went to the bots and shot them quickly but one charged at him and grabbed him from behind. It caught Lance off guard and his eyes widened and he dropped his bayard and froze. Flashbacks hit him as he got pulled to the floor as his eyes were still wide. "MOVE LANCE" Allura yelled as she defeated the bot "stop sequence!" She yelled as she walked in front of Lance. "What the QUIZNAK was that Lance?!" Pidge yelled and he snapped back to reality and looked up, "oh uh...s-sorry I just-" Allura cut him off "NO EXCUSES LANCE" he flinched and gripped his arm.
