The Shadows of Inkwell Isle

-Chapter 1-

"MUGS WHERE ARE YOU!!" My screams echoed threw the empty woods like I was in a cave. The moon was shining. The wind blew a slight cold breeze making me regret leaving my scarf at the house. "I shouldn't have yelled at him..." I said wiping away the tears that where forming in my eyes.

Earlier that day....

Me and Mugs where running threw the woods because I may or may not have made Hilda mad. We where running as fast as we could to Elder Kettle.

"B-Boys what's wrong!" His shaky voice wailed as he caught us in a hug. Mugs was crying his small innocent eyes out.

"M-Miss Hilda is mad at us!" Mugs said with a shaky voice. I had to look away from Mugs crying face. It was breaking my heart...

"What did you guys do?!" Elder Kettle asked looking very concerned. Mugs elbowed me in the back causing me to cough.

"I-I well. Said that I don't like her because her nose it to pointy and she's a freak..." I laughed. But Elder Kettle was not having it. He smacked me in the back of the head pretty hard.

"You need to go say sorry to her now!" He wheezed picking up the crying Mugman.

"YOU KNOW, MUGS THIS IS YOUR FAULT, I WISHED YOU WHERNT MY BROTHER!" I growled. Elder Kettle gasped putting Mugs down. Mugs was completely silent..

"Ok Cuphead consider you brother less..." Mugs looked at me tears rolling down his face, He turned away harshly and ran into the woods.

" M-MUGS WAIT!" I yelled trying to run after him bit I tripped on a rock bashing my face on the ground.

" Oh my...." Elder Kettle sighed. " We must find him before King Dice does!" He looked at me. I stood up wiping the dirt off my face.

"Yah your right we do...." I said looking into the woods. "This is going to be fun..." I rolled my eyes and dashed off into the woods after my little bro.Praying that i would find him before the Devil him self gets a hold of him...
