Chapter 24

-2 weeks later-

today was the day Jack and I left to go visit his family in Pennsylvania, I'm so existed to see Sydnie again and meet the rest of jacks sisters. Jacks mum Kristin still doesn't know that jack and I are pregnant yet, as well as Ava & Isla. Jack and I are all packed, we got everything in the boot of the uber and we were off to LAX.

We both managed to get through security pretty fast so we went and got some lunch to pass the time. after an hour of waiting Jack and I went and took our seats on the plane.

-couple hours later-

we are in the car on our way to jacks family's house. Sydnie came and picked us up from the airport which was nice of her. I'm kind of freaking out while I'm sitting in the back seat, I mean imagine meeting your sons girlfriend for the first time and then being told they're having a daughter.

Sydnie: "y/n don't work yourself up, mum is going to love you"

jack: "babe she's going to love you, and so will the girls"

Y/n: "I really hope so guys"

Jack: "just be yourself, and you will fit right in"

We pull in into the drive way and I get out to get my bags from the boot when jack stops me.

Jack: "come on babe, lets just go see them first, then we can come back for the bags"

Sydnie: "they're dying to meet you! lets go!"

jack holds my hand while we walk straight inside. their house is beautiful but I cant hear anyone. Jack pulls me into the kitchen where his mum is making dinner.

Kristin: "omg y/n you guys made it!"

Jack: "nice to see you too mum"

Kristin: "oh yes hi jack, but y/n you're even more beautiful in person!"

Sydnie: "see I told you mum"

y/n: "oh my goodness, thank you so much. I see where Jack gets his good looks from now"

Kristin: "I love you already, why couldn't you bring her sooner jack"

jack: "oh you know, work"

Sydnie: "haha funny jack, you better go let the rest of your family know you guys are here"

Kristin: "oh I didn't tell the girls you guys were coming, they will be so happy to meet y/n"

Jack: "babe do you want to come to their rooms with me?"

y/n: "sounds great, lets go"

so far so good, Kristin is so lovely. I already feel at home, I can tell this week is going to be really good. we made our way to Ava's room first, jack holds my hand while knocking on her bedroom door with his free hand. Ava opens the door and runs up to jack giving him a massive hug, jack and my hands come apart but it was okay.

ava: "JACK, what are you doing here?"

Jack: "coming to see my family dummy"

ava: "I'm so happy to see you"

Jack: "I have someone I want you to meet, Ava this is y/n"

Y/n: "hi Ava, its so nice to finally meet you"

Ava: "oh, hi Y/n"

Jack: "she doesn't get a hug? good first impression Ava"

y/n: "its okay Jack, I get it"

Ava: "I'm sorry, I wasn't sure if you were a hugger"

ava came and gave me a hug, for the first time in a long time I left like I had a family. I knew that bringing our baby into this family was going to be perfect.

jack: "how come isla isn't in her room?"

Ava: "oh shes at a friends house, and I'm going to mine now. ill see you both tomorrow"

jack gave Ava a kiss on the check as she left, jack and I walked back into the family room to sit with Sydnie and Kristin.

Kristin: "so I guess its just us four tonight, we all have to catch up"

Sydnie: "but first, who wants a vodka shot, I know your down jack"

Jack: "oh I'm good tonight, thanks anyways syd"

y/n: "I'm okay"

Sydnie: "why, you pregnant y/n hahaha"

Jack: "Sydnie what are you doing?!"

Sydnie: "I'm sorry, it was just a joke I didn't mean to"

Kristin: "Sydnie shut your mouth, jack why are you letting this get to you?"

Jack gave me the look and I knew I had to step in.

y/n: "Kristin I know I just got here, and this wasn't the way jack and I had planed on telling you this. but one of the reasons we came here was to tell you face to face"

Jack: "mum y/n and I are having a baby girl, y/n was the one that had the respect to wait and tell you In person. but know Sydnie has gone and ruined this all for us"

Kristin: "...................
