chapter 26

I woke up this morning to roll over to see Jack wasn't in bed. at first I got a little scared but then realised he was probably just downstairs. so I decided to go and get dressed for the day and chuck on some makeup so I didn't look totally dead.

I made my way downstairs and surprisingly it was quiet, too quiet for the Stanford household in fact. I walked around the corner and only saw Kristin in the kitchen.

Y/n: "good morning Kristin"

Kristin: "good morning y/n, how was your sleep?"

Y/n: "it was really good. hey do you know where jack might be? i woke up this morning and he wasn't in bed?"

Kristin: "haha you forgot he was taking the girls out for breakfast"

y/n: "ohh that's right"

Kristin: "syd is still here, i think she wanted to take you baby shopping today"

Y/n: "about the baby thing Kristin, I'm so sorry you had to find out like that"

Kristin: "honestly it doesn't matter how i found out, nothing would make me change how happy i am for you two"

Sydnie: "hey y/n, wanna go out today?"

Y/n: "um, yeah i guess"

you see, i was still really mad with Sydnie for last night. but this is jacks family and i have to make an effort. i don't want our baby girl being brought into this world with us all fighting so I decided to just go.

~Jacks P.O.V~

so this morning I decided to get up early and take Isla & Ava out to breakfast to tell them about Y/n and I having A baby.

Ava: "jack why are we out for breakfast'

Isla: "what Ava, jack cant take us out for breakfast? I think it was a really good idea Jack."

Jack: "why thank you very much Isla Rose. well it looks like you two didn't bring your wallets, so order whatever your hearts desire and ill pay"

Ava: "what did you do wrong jack?"

Jack: "what do you mean Ava?"

Ava: "Cleary you did something wrong. and now you are here to tell us what it is"

Jack: "well there is something I would like to talk to you girls about"

Isla: "you can tell us anything Jacky"

Jack: "well girls.... how do you feel about being aunties?"

Ava: "no. way. is this a joke?!"

Isla: "Jack, what does that mean?"

Ava: "it means that Jack is going to be a dad Isla"

Jack: "are you guys happy?"

Isla: "THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE"

Ava: "shhhh Isla. other people are around"

Jack: "come on girls, finish your food then we can go back home and see y/n"

the girls ate all the food I paid for. we all got in the car and drove home. the whole time Isla wouldn't shut up about the baby thing, I mean it made me really happy knowing she was excited. but ava didn't say a word on the way home, that's really wired for Ava.......
