"We were deceived"

October 3 / 9:30 PM / Mansion
Muffled voices can be heard in the four sides of the room. We honestly don't know where we are or what's happening. We just wanted to enjoy our vacation here at Jeonju but all of it changed when we arrived here. On our second day, Irene-eonni, Jennie-eonni and Yeri suddenly disappeared like a bubble. We searched and searched until we've found this mansion.

I can still remember the night we discovered this mansion, it was raining and we were lost. Seeing this mansion in the middle of the forest seemed weird but at that moment we thought it was a blessing.

October 2 / 7:58 PM / Jeonju forest

A handsome thin dandelion-haired guy holding an umbrella opened up the gate when Seulgi-eonni was about to knock for us. To be honest his smile made him look so cute but that didn't hid the fact that he's shy.

"Is there anything I can do for you ladies?"

"Good evening, uhm sorry for interrupting you but do you have some spare umbrellas we could use? It would be a great help if you'll let us borrow it and I promise we'll give it back tomorrow" Rosé spoke, we looked at her in disbelief. Who would borrow umbrellas from someone you dont know? And take note in the middle of the night.

Surprisingly, the guy laughed at what Rosé said. "I would, but seeing you three drenched and lost in the middle of the woods would make things more complicated." I checked out the mansion while they're talking. It's kind of creepy, it looks so old too and I don't like the atmosphere.

"Come inside, you can stay here for the night."

"Ah! No, no it's oky we'll manage to get out of the woods fast." Seulgi said.

"I insist and besides it's just me and my brother here. It's dangerous to roam around the forest at night." He has a point but it's hard to trust someone you just met.

In the end we agreed to stay here. He took care of us and in a short span of time we became friends.

"Minghao, you said you have a brother right? Where is he?" I asked out of curiosity. "Ah he works as a tour guide so he'll probably arrive later." He said then told us where our room is.

As I entered my room I started to realize that Rosé have been silent since we entered this mansion. She's the type of person who doesn't know what the word "sad" means but she looked so bothered earlier

'maybe I'm just overreacting..'I thought as I drifted of to sleep.

2:28 AM

"Lisa!!! Wake up!" She shouted and shook my shoulders to wake up.

I who were pulled back from dream land looked at Rosé confused of what is happening.

"Rosé? What happened?" I asked her still sleepy.

"It's M-minghao!! I saw him d-drag seulgi to a room fi-filled with blind folded people!" Then suddenly I became alert. I'm really nervous, well no I'm actually scared of what's happening right now.

I don't really know what to do. Should we go and save Seulgi-eonni? It would be too risky knowing that Minghao has an advantage and no, she will get mad if she saw us in that room with her. Should we escape and ask the police for help? Shit another no! If they're willing to help us then the moment we told them about the three of us being missing, they could've helped us.

I wish all of this was just a dream. My thoughts were interrupted when we heard footsteps getting closer. We were frozen in our spot. Those footsteps convinced me that this isn't a dream; a freaking nightmare. Rosé suddenly pulled me into a closet.

"Lisa, no matter what happens stay here! Got it?" She told me as she was about to close the closet. "No!! We'll save Seulgi-eonni and get out of this!" She looked at me, saying everything will be fine as long as I can escape this mansion.

"Someone should escape safely and call for help! We're running out of time." I was about to say something when suddenly Rosé closed the closet door. She looked at me before opening the door.

There he is, the mysterious guy who took our eonni for an unknown reason. They look so calm with whatever they're talking about. But Minghao suddenly tied Rosé's wrists. I can't let another friend of mine get taken. I hurriedly ran out of the closet and headed towards my struggling friend.

I pushed him away but knowing that he's stronger than me I only managed to push him to the wall making him hit his head kinda hard. I ran towards Rosé, helping her remove the rope on her wrist and we took the opportunity to ran away.

"What do you think you're doing, Lalisa?! I told you to stay there!!" She shouted as we ran through the empty hallways.

"And do you think I'll stay in that closet and watch you get captured by him?!"

Damn, it feels like the mansion is extending whenever we reach a dead end! It feels like we're running since forever; a rat inside an endless maze.

We finally saw the door outside, I sprinted faster to open it but to my disappointment it's fucking closed!! I can even hear the chains from the outside.

"Would you like to surrender?" I froze when I heard his voice. I closed my eyes, afraid to look back and see what's happening there.

I turned to my friend, forgetting the fact that I'm afraid. No, 'scared' is the right term. There I saw Minghao covering Rosé's mouth with his right hand while his left arm held a knife close to Rosé's neck.

"Checkmate." He said, smirking at me.
