Chapter # 3

“ I cant believe you!” Liam shouted as we walked to the park the next day, he had his ugly outfit on still. Why hadn’t he changed clothes? I have no idea. We were going by my friends in the middle of summer and he wears the warmest thing possible. Well almost anyway, and I was wearing almost the complete opposite. I had a blue tank top on and some short shorts. I was dressed for summer in summer, and he was dressed for winter.

“ You weren’t complaining before,” I smirked stopped for a second, Cameron and Kelly were almost there. They weren’t even looking for us, oh well they are in love what can you expect? I sighed ad pulled Liam the rest of the way to the park. We waited on the swings until they got there. Which they kissed for about a minute before Kelly and I could even talk.

“ Erika!” Kelly exclaimed hugging me, I hugged her back and followed her gaze to Liam. “ Liam,” Kelly said pulling away, and looking once at Cameron. She pulled Liam away leaving me with Cameron. It felt awkward every time I was alone with her boyfriend.

“ Hello Cameron,” I smiled swinging a little, and he nodded his gaze to Kelly. Who was talking to Liam, and then I realized that they knew each other. How? They were arguing, and Kelly slapped him. Cameron chuckled beside me, “ See your not the only one,” I said and got off the swing, watching her.

“ So he tell you who is yet?” Cameron said and I looked at him, he knew? He knew that Liam was a Blackstone. How does everyone know about this but me! This just isn’t fair, and now I’m stuck in the middle! I have both marks and I just want to scream. Holding it all inside of me I looked at him.

“ You know?” I questioned and he removed his sweatshirt to show a Blackstone mark. I gasped and pulled off my sweatshirt. I hadn’t bothered putting anything on my marks this morning, “ Wow Cameron, does Kelly know?” I asked and he looked at both of my marks shock on his face. I smirked before putting my sweatshirt back on.

“ Erika Whitestone!” Kelly exclaimed pulling off my sweatshirt, and she looked at my marks, “ How dare you keep this from me!” Liam, he told her. I was going to, what the hell. She looked at the Whitestone one and just shook her head, and the looked at Liam.

“ Look Kelly, I was planning to tell you. I promise, but Liam beat me to it. I couldn’t tell you before now because I was either passed out having a ton of information loaded into my brain, or at a meeting. Passed out for the majority of it,” As I said this Liam chuckled and Kelly hugged me. “ So do you forgive me?” I asked and she smiled, and gave me a sympathetic look.

“ Of course!” She exclaimed and pulled me into another hug, Liam growled and she pulled away. “ Liam stop it! You suck and you know it!” Kelly giggled and went over by Cameron who stood awkwardly by Liam. Liam walked over towards me and stood, he had the weirdest way of standing.

“ So how do you know Liam?” I asked not really thinking, I already knew the answer. Everyone in the Blackstone society knew Liam. He after all was Liam Blackstone, so why wouldn’t everyone know who he was. I sighed and Liam walked over by me, and Kelly looked at Liam. Cameron looked at Liam, why were they looking at Liam like that? It was almost as if they were asking for his permission to speak.

“ Obviously, by our parents. We missed the last meeting though, which explains why we didn’t know you knew,” Kelly said a smile playing on her innocent face. Of course I knew she wasn’t so innocent, “ But, a lot of us around this age go on…” Liam cut her off with a stern look. Go on what? I wanted to know.
