I feel stupid for living up to the cliche that girls are weak and emotional.
Those insta and tumblr accounts used to make me laugh, usernames like imisshim or sad_thoughts, posting dark photos with the flash on of edgy quotes heartbroken girls can relate to.
But I can't laugh anymore, because I have become one. I relate to the quotes, follow the accounts, screenshot the pictures.
Because I'm heartbroken and sad.
Over who?
I don't know.
It could be him, or her, or him?
I always feel the same way after all of them.
The same useless, embarrassed, shame that comes after heartbreak. Sometimes I question if anything is worth it. Are these people worth the late nights of being curled up in a ball, desperately wishing their name would stop haunting the hallways of my mind?
Probably not.
