Nani? Why after all these years do they want to return to Leaf. Couldn't they have waited till she got a 10 year long mission ? She really didn't want to face the 3 people who caused her depression and distant behavior . To be completely honest they aren't entirely to take the blame as all her 'friends' chose to ignore her during her loneliest times. They didn't even bother to comfort her the day her parents died due to a assassination mission.
A sigh escaped her lips as she turned her shower on after brushing her teeth. It seams that they have a new member, Sai . 'I must keep my distance from him if I don't want to ruin my cover' she thought to herself reminding her self that he himself is an ANBU serving Danzo as well, and have encountered each other a few times due to missions and such.
Deciding on her shinobi wear rather than her ANBU gear she slipped it on and strapped her dragon print katana towards her back and walked out side of her rather big apartment . 'It seems being an ANBU does have its perks' she thought to herself .
Today was marked a week since the news of Naruto, Kakashi and Sasukes return . She hadn't put much thought to it. Okay that was a lie since that's all she thought about. She missed her perverted sensei and her asshole duck butt teammate she loved since her childhood days . But most of all she missed her knuckle head ninja she loved like the brother she never had. Even if he thought other wise she knew he was made for someone else. A certain hyuuga perhaps.
Walking down the streets of Konaha a certain group of people caught her attention. There sat Konoha 12 at a well known ramen shop all together catching up about the past few years . It saddened her that they haven't invited her to the get together but it bought a small smile on her lips as she reminisces her past events with her old friends.
She continued walking as a voice called out for her
"You saw us but didn't even bother to welcome us back Sakura?" A hurt voice questioned as it slightly broke her heart . Where's the suffix Naruto? She questioned herself . Don't forget Sakura he's the one that left you alone for 3 and a half years. That seemed to make a new set of emotions flood over her changing her mind set. She can't miss him , no. He left.
"I have important things to do Naruto"
"More important then greeting your bestfriend after 3 years!" Naruto asked slightly mad
"Naruto, I don't have friends" she replied as she disappeared in a swirl of cherry blossoms.
