The bell rang and everyone ran out of the classroom. I really don't know what’s going on. I was right she never knew her parents. I has a hard time remembering times I had with them. I never met my mom but I met my dad. I don’t want to go home I just wanted to stay at school so I don't have to meet the person who is so called my father.
I got off the bus and just sat on the steps of the orphanage. I don’t want to go in but I knows I have to eventually. I sat there for about ten minutes. I saw a car turn into the driveway so I got up and ran into the back of the orphanage. It was a man, he was alone but not for long.
“Hello Mr.Lester, I thought Amelia would be home from school already but her bus must be running late.” Said sister Mary
“It’s fine, I have plenty of time.” Said Mr.Lester
I don’t want to go inside but i’m getting hungry and everyone is probably starting to worry about me. Sister Mary would be looking for me by now. I don’t see anyone walking around. There are a lot of things going on. I guess I should try to go inside and go to my room, I just need to be really quiet.
“Amelia Mr.Lester has been waiting for an hour, what took you so long to get home?” Says Sister Mary
“I… I’ve been home the whole time.” I said.
“Well come here and meet your father. His name Is John Lester.” Said Sister Mary
That name sounds really familiar to me but I don't think that was my fathers name. “Do I have too?” I asked
“If you want to live with your father and actually have a sorta normal life.” Sister Mary said
“Well you two have a good time then.” I said as walking towards my room.
“Amelia get over here please. Mr. Lester has been waiting very pationatly to meet you.” Sister Mary yelled. “Sorry you have to see this Mr. Lester.”
“Fine!”
“Its totally fine, as long as I get my little girl back.” Says Mr. Lester
