The Party

I got out of bed at about 11. We've been here for almost a month, and we were introduced to their channel. Poppie and Hayley are like best friends. And I'm pretty sure Blake likes Annie. Annie and Sarai are best friends too, and my brothers pretty much look up to Caleb. I put a black vest on, blue shorts and a flannel on, slipped my converse on and ran downstairs. Today was a day we don't have to do school so I went straight outside to meet the fam.

They were all there apart from some guy I didn't recognize. I went over and said hi to everyone, still wondering who this guy was.

"Oh, Brynn! This is Hayden!" Annie said, pointing to the guy.

"Hi." He smiled.

"Hi." I replied, sitting next to Poppie. He didn't take his eyes off me so when I caught him staring, I smirked at him.

"Ok, so we're throwing a big party tonight, can you guys come?" Annie asked, referring to me.

"Of course we can come!" Poppie said, excitedly. They carried on talking but one thing I noticed was Hayden kept looking at me.

He kept smiling at me so I winked. Katie brought out a fruit salad and some bowls, and everyone helped themselves. I took a picture of everyone and posted it to SnapChat. A bunch of people from school messaged me, asking how I knew them but I simple replied 'I just do'. My siblings and I went back to the house at 1 to get ready for the party. I helped my siblings get showered and changed before focusing myself.

I showered and did my makeup before changing. My outfit was approved with a quick look in the mirror. I ran downstairs, stroked Pippa and went into the kitchen.

"Mom?"

"Yes, darling?"

"When are we going over?" She spun round and realized she had to get changed too. She ran to her room, and about half an hour later, she came out.

She was wearing a burgundy dress with a black belt.

"Mom, we're going to a party. Not a meeting." I laughed.

"You shut your mouth, Brianna." She snapped.

"For God's sake, how many times do I have to say it? Call me Brynn!" And with that, I walked out of the double doors and went through our garden to the LeBlanc's. People were talking outside and introduced themselves to me, but all I wanted to do was find Caleb or Annie or someone I knew!

As I managed to get into the house, I tripped over someone's foot. No one really noticed but I still went red in the face as I stood up. Someone tapped my shoulder, and I turned around to see Hayden. He was wearing light blue jeans and a pink top. I smiled when I saw him, and led him to the hallway near the stairs because there weren't many people there.

"Here, now I can hear you!" I said, over the music.

"Yeah, how old are you, I never found out."

"I'm fourteen."

"Oh, I'm thirteen."

"Cool. Listen, I'm gonna go find Caleb. Bye." I called as I went down the stairs.

I walked into Caleb's room to see him standing in front of his wardrobe. He was trying to find a top, because he was standing in a pair of jeans, with no shirt on. I walked behind him and tapped his shoulder. He smiled when he saw me, and put the two shirts he was holding down.

"I can't find a shirt, help me." He whined.

"Of course, your majesty!" I curtsied. I went into his closet and chose a white polo shirt. "Here, put it on."

He slipped it on over his head. It looked good on him.

"Thanks, I guess? Can we go up now, its kinda awkward."

"What, don't want mommy and daddy thinking you're with a girl?" I teased. He rolled his eyes and dragged me out of the room.

We ran upstairs and were greeted by his family and friends. Whilst he made conversation, I awkwardly stood next to him and said nothing. Eventually, I got bored and walked away. I found Hayden playing with some little kids so I pulled him off into the corner.

"Hey?" He sounded confused.

"Hey! So, who do you like?" I asked.

"Um, I don't like anyone?"

"Annie, Sarai? There's got to be someone." I laughed.

"There is someone. But she hardly knows me so I don't think she'll like me back, to be honest."

"Oh, give it a chance. What's her name?" I giggled.

"Brynn." My mouth dropped. I think he thought I liked him too because he leaned in and kissed me. I didn't pull away or kiss back, I just stood there. Someone cleared their throat, making us stop. It was Caleb. He glared at Hayden before storming off. I ran straight after him.
