Chapter Three: Sym's

Hinata was well dressed and combing his hair when his phone buzzed. It was Aoi. Why on Earth was she calling him? She was right next door. Hinata answered his phone and put it on speaker.

"Hey, Aoi."

"Heeeeeeyyy!"

"Why in Gods name are you calling me? You're next door."

At that moment Hinata's doorbell rang. He looked through the peephole and there stood Aoi looking very excited with her phone in her hand while Ichika was muttering to herself and had her head leaned against the wall with a very bored face.

Hinata opened the door and Aoi tackled him, wrapping him in her arms and squeezing tightly.

"I'm sooooo glad you got a date with something other than your hand tonight!"

Hinata turned red and his eyed widened. "AOI! WHAT IN THE HELL? I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE INNOCENT ONE!" His embarassment went from small giggles to hysterical laughter. Aoi joined in on the laughs but Ichika just stood there like a statue.

"What time is your date?" She said.

Hinata looked at the digital clock next to the TV. "Oh shit. Gotta run! Can't leave Akari waiting."

"Ok Hinata!" Aoi said as Hinata walked out of his house. She ran to the door and waved goodbye to her friend. "Have a good night! Don't stay out too late! And call us if you aren't coming home!"

Hinata chuckled. "I will Aoi. And I'll be back soon. I promise."

Ichika closed her eyes and opened them back up quickly, stepping back in horror. She was seeing Her again. She looked at Aoi for reassurance and covered her eyes with her hands. She ran down the steps of Hinata's porch and started running back to her and Aoi's house. Aoi caught up with Ichika and grabbed her arm. She turned Ichika to look at her and Ichika was crying, her eyes wide, scared and full of sadness. She shook Ichika to get her out of her daze. "ICHIKA! What's wrong?! Ichi what happened? Why did you run? Why are you crying?"

Ichika's ears were ringing with the same words over and over that She said to her long ago:

"...Ichi, I'll be back soon. I promise..."

She said it so many times and always kept the promise...it seemed like She'd never leave. But one day...she broke it...

Her face was the only thing in Ichika's mind. She put her hands on her ears and almost collasped on the floor but Aoi hugged Ichika and held her up.

"It's ok Ichi. We can talk about it in the house..." Aoi wiped her friend's tears off her friend's face.

"Ok...o-ok..." Ichika sniffled and held Aoi's hand as they walked into their home.

Hinata arrived at Sym's restaurant. Sym and Iko would be so happy he had a date. More happy than he and Aoi were put together.

Hinata was sitting an the bench next to Sym's when someone tapped his shoulder.

"Hi there Toraburu. Nice to see you didn't ditch me."

Hinata turned around to see Akari, her hair in a ponytail, wearing nice earrings and some comfy jeans, her huge locket visible on her neck. She looked...very cute. 

"I wouldn't stand up anyone, girl." He walked to the door and held it open for Akari to go through.

"You say that to all the ladies?" Akari giggled and walked into the restaurant.
