"Hey" Rosie yelled into the house just to remember that her brother would be out with the gang. She walked into the kitchen and got out what she needed to make sandwiches for dinner tonight; since they would have some gang members over for dinner. She has always wanted to join the gang, but her brother will never let her join the gang because he is afraid the blue gang will see her as a weakness and go for her to bring down the rest of the gang.

Just then the front door opens and she hears a ton of laughter from her brother and his gang member.

"Rosie, you home?" Jacob yelled into the house.

"Yes, finishing up some sandwiches." I blurted.

"Ok." He said, before taking his gang member to the backyard.

I have always wanted to join his gang, so I would understand what was truly going on in our town. There was always suspicious things happening and only few could explain what truly happened, and those few people were in the gangs.

I quickly ran the sandwiches outside and handed them out, before anyone could wondered what was taking me so long. When I gave my brothers his I whispered that I was going to bed for the night. He just nodded his head and went back to talking to his gang friends.

As soon as I made it to my bedroom, I plopped myself on the black bed in the middle and started daydreaming about how tomorrow's lunch was going to go. I was sitting there thinking of so many possibilities on what could happen, till I finally fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning at 7:50, 5 minutes before I had to be at school. Dang it! Another tardy added on to my list. Oh no, I also have to look nice today because I have my lunch date with Will.

I got up quickly and put on some jean shorts and a red shirt that says 'I <3 gangs'. It was the silliest shirt ever, but my brother got it for me and I was just going for a causal look for lunch.

When I got down stairs, I had to grab a quick banana before I walked down to the gas station my brother owned since he would have to drive me to school. The has station was luckily just down the street, but there was always creepy people standing outside smoking and checking out any girl that came by. I quickly walked into the shop before on of the dumb a*ses could say something.

"Jacob?" I yelled.

"Rosie, is that you?" He questioned.

"Ya, I kind of missed the bus." I said shyly.

"Ugh, just let me lock up real quickly then I'll drive you to school." He responded aggravated.

"Thanks." I answered before heading outside to his truck. his truck was a red old rusty one that he bought with his own money before our parents passed away, but since then he hasn't had enough money to go as look at a new one. Also his one right now is so beat up, it's probably only worth a dollar.

My brother came out of the gas station a few seconds later and locked up the place. He quickly headed over because when he wasn't working, he wasn't getting paid by people who come in so he was going to try to make this a quick trip. Once we both got in he car he drove off quickly without saying a word.

Short chapter, but it's what I have finished and I thought that it's better than nothing.
