That following Monday, Davis found himself staring at himself in the mirror of the gym the floor had. His breath was staggered and beads of sweat fell from his forehead and down his face, sticking his hair to his forehead and causing the floor to be slightly wet. His feet are moving quickly and his arms are moving at the same time and rhythm. He didn't notice someone walk in until the music was turned off and Ziva was leaning against the mirror with a towel and water bottle in her hands.

"Wanna tell me again why a mental hospital has a gym?" Z asks with a small smile as Davis takes the towel and water bottle with a small 'thanks' and smile. They both sit on the floor, backs against the mirror, and feet stretched out in front of them. Davis' breathing was still heavy, but they didn't care. "It just seems like this place has everything, considering what its purpose is."

"At the same time as you exercise, endorphins, another chemical to fight stress, is released in your brain. These endorphins tend to minimize the discomfort of exercise, block the feeling of pain and are even associated with a feeling of euphoria. It supposedly makes you happier. The scariest part about all of this is that they have a very similar and addictive behavior like morphine, heroin or nicotine. The only difference is it's actually good for us." Davis says like it's one of the most obvious scientific facts in the world. Ziva chuckles a small chuckle that soon breaks out into a full giggle fit. "What?" Davis tilts his head in confusion.

"You mean to tell me that exercising has the same effect as drugs, but you still turned to unprescribed drugs to numb your pain?" Z says a bit more seriously than her previously laughing state. Davis looks at her then back down to his hands. "It's a bit illogical, don't you think?"

Davis sighs and shrugs, taking a small sip of his water. "Well, what else would numb the pain?"

"Well, how do you feel now?" Z questions, a caring smile placed on her lips.

Davis looks back up at her with a smile. "I'd say pretty numb. How do you feel?" Z opens her mouth to answer, but Noah walks in and kicks Davis' shoe. The two look up at him and he nods to the door.

"There are apparently people here to see you, I think like three. One of them looks just like you so maybe a brother or something." Davis instantly stands up at remembering that Landon is filed as Davis' brother, pulling Z up with him.

"Oh! I totally forgot they were coming today. Ziv, come to my room later and we can finish this conversation." Davis side hugs Ziva and gives a fist bump to Noah before running out of the room quickly.

"Woah there, Davis! What happened to you?" Landan asks once Davis runs out to the front, excited to see his friends after a week of not talking. He goes for a hug, which his friends gladly accept even though he is sweaty and gross due to his dance practice.

Davis pulls away and gestures to a small table. The four settle down there and jump straight into a conversation "Well, uh, I was dancing," Davis says once the excitement of seeing each other has worn off "I thought maybe it could help me...you know."

Anthony's eyes light up with excitement. Ever since Oscar, he hasn't really had anyone to dance alongside him in practices. Maybe Davis can join him and become his new dance partner. "That's...that's really cool, Davis. Once you're out of here, maybe we can dance to something together." Anthony decides on saying.

Davis only nods and pushes his glasses up a bit with a ghost of a smile. His mind somehow travels back to his new friends and he remembers that he has no idea what his old friends have been up too. "What has been going on with you guys?" He asks suddenly, not really thinking before it came out.
