Chapter 5

Me and Billie were speaking throughout the night. We were both drinking. He was already drunk. But he looked more than drunk. I can't explain it.

He was opening up to me how him and his wife were going through a divorce.
"I really did love her. But one day I came home from the studio and she handed me over divorce papers. She said she can't live with a husband that is working all the time and isn't home. I signed the papers to make her happy. The public doesn't know about this. I want to keep this private."

He look like he was about to burst into tears. I gently squeezed his hands for comforting.

"I hope everything turns out better for you" I said. He responded with a small smile. "me too" he said.

Mike interrupted our conversation. "hey we all going clubbing. Wanna come with?"

"Not tonight Mike." Billie replied.
"You can go if you want" Billie told me.
"No I'm staying." I replied
"Okay bye guys don't get too naughty." Mike said. And with that he left.
