Summer Dates - Murasakibara

The summer festival was tonight and you decided to check it out. While you were changing into your yukata your friends messaged you saying they were busy and wouldn't make it to the festival. You were still set on going because it had been years since you last went.

As you wandered around the festival leisurely eating a candied apple you spotted a lone purple haired giant sitting at a bench enjoying some festival snacks. It turned out to be Murasakibara who was in your class. "Hey, Murasakibara-san!" You called as you made your way through the crowd. He looked up and waved.

     "(Y/N)-chin, help me." He whine as you took a seat next to him. "Muro-chin disappeared and now I'm lost." You furrowed your brows. "The snacks taste better when you're with friends."

     "If you want I can stay with you until you find Himuro-san." You suggested as he pouted. (He's like a kid.) You thought. "Do you want to walk around and look for him?" He nodded and took your hand. The two of you began the search, but not long after forgot the objective and started enjoying the festival. "Murasakibara-san, look!" You excitedly pointed out a takoyaki stand.

     "Takoyaki." He smiled as you handed him the freshly made treat. "(Y/N)-chin, this is yummy." He said with his mouth full. You were going to laugh when your stomach growled. "Nee~ (Y/N)-chin, are you hungry?" He looked sort of worried.

     "I guess I am." You placed your hand over your stomach. "I'll go buy myself some takoyaki too." You turned towards the stand, but a large <yaoi> hand stopped you. Murasakibara held a takoyaki ball out to you.

     "Nee~" He began, "(Y/N)-chin, say 'Ah'." He said as he pushed the takoyaki against your lips. You blushed, but he didn't seem to mind. Despite the embarrassment you opened you mouth and accepted the food. "You can eat some of my snacks if you want." He smiled.

Just as you were about to reply Himuro appeared. "Atsushi, there you are! I've been looking for you." He noticed you. "Ah, (Y/N)-chan, thank-you for taking care of him." You shook your head.

     "Muro-chin is dense." Murasakibara pouted. Himuro seemed to understand and put a hand on your shoulder.

     "Could you please look after him a while longer?" He asked as you he glanced at Murasakibara.

     "I want to be with (Y/N)-chin by myself..." Murasakibara said as he rested his chin on the top of your head and hugged you. You blushed and looked up at him abd he smiled. Before you realized, Himuro had left. "Nee~ let's eat shaved ice next."

     "Alright." You said still flustered and even more so since he took your hand again. You led him to the snow cone stand you had previously passed. Shortly after, the two of you were sitting at a bench outside the festival grounds. You waited for the fireworks display as you ate your shaved ice. The first firework startled Murasakibara causing him to drop his. His eyes began to tear up as he stared down at his soiled treat. You pressed a spoonful of ice against his mouth and his mood instantly brightened. He gladly accepted your offer and you shared the rest of you ice and watched the fireworks.

     "I want to be with (Y/N)-chin all the time." He yawned as he took your hand again.
