Finn arrived home later than usual. His brain was already tired from the school day plus tutoring with Jack. It's exhausting.

Finn threw his bag on to the couch not having a single care. His mom wasn't going to be home as she's working a late night shift at the pharmacy down the street. He went to the kitchen to find a sweet note from his mom.

'Hi sweetie, hope you had a wonderful day at school. Your dinner is in the oven (hint: it's your favorite). Enjoy!
-love Mom'

Finn grinned. If he could become a billionaire he'd buy his mom anything she wanted anytime. She sacrifices so much for him that he'd even sacrifice his heart if she got sick and needed one.

Finn opened the fridge and grabbed an apple before going upstairs to his room. His room was messy as usual. Clothes thrown on to the ground. His blanket lazily hung off the corner of his messy bed. The table had a clutter of things he never bothered to put back on the shelves but at one corner of his room was one clean area.

It was where he put his sweet, beautiful, precious guitar. It even had its own stand and Finn couldn't be any happier. He had saved up all his allowance money just to get this guitar. His mother supported him along the way, giving him money for the little chores he did or she'd find him a small job to do for neighbors.

It was worth it because in the end Finn got what he wanted. Finn put down his apple on the nightstand and grabbed his guitar.

He lightly strummed. "Needs a little tuning" he said to himself. He sat on his bed to slightly tune it. Once he was done he laid down on his bed and began strumming a few chords from 'My kind of woman' by Mac DeMarco.

Finn dreams of having his own band and their first cover song would be this song. That'd be cool. Finn stopped when he heard his phone ring. Annoyed, he gently put down the guitar and reached for his nightstand (still laying down) wondering who would be calling him at this time.

'Millie'

Finn read, holding his phone up. He answered the call. "Hello?"

"Finn! Finn! Finn!" Millie squealed causing Finn to move the phone away from his ear. "You'll never guess what!" Finn rolled his eyes and kept quiet. Millie did the same. Silence roamed around the two for a while. It looked like Millie wasn't going to open her mouth unless Finn asked-

"What?"

"I finally got Sadie's number!" She giggled. Finn didn't know how to react. Him and Millie aren't friends. To him at least. Millie had already got attached to him since she moved to school a week ago and Finn did not like her. He was really happy that she's lesbian. It's better if she doesn't get attracted to him.

Finn liked being alone but it felt as if Millie was 'invading' that privacy of being alone. She wasn't annoying or anything. Just a little too hyper.

Finn chuckled "it's about time you got new friends"

"Yeah! I've never gotten this number of friends"

"Ye-wait what?" Finn stopped midway, slightly confused and concerned. "Have you ever had friends?"

Millie nervously laughed "Kids at my old school thought I was annoying and way too hyper...so they didn't really l-like me"

Finn remained silent for a while.

"I was getting bullied and being lesbian made it worse but it's okay, I've got you and Sadie now! Right?" Millie's tone wasn't as cheerful anymore. Just filled with sorrow and that triggered something in Finn.

Regret.

"Yeah. You've got me" and Finn meant every single word. Millie began rumbling how this wasn't supposed to be a sad conversation, slightly laughing in between to lighten up the mood.

It did. In the end she moved on to the topic on how she found Sadie quite cute. She never stopped but Finn didn't mind.

He had a little smile as he listen. He was proud of himself because he made someone's day better.

I'm sorryyyy this chapter isn't as good. *silently cries in corner*
