Her Broken Smile

New student

Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep-Be-

Ugh, stupid alarm clock. I rolled over and looked at the time '4:30 am'  I'd better get up. rolling out of bed I walked right to the bathroom and took a shower. Ten minuets later I got out and walked back to my room. I went right to my closet and took out my new school uniform (pic up above). Quickly putting it on I walked over to my mirror and started fighting the rats in my hair. Moments later I was running down the stairs to make breakfast. Father will be up soon, and if I don't have his meal ready I'll miss my first day of school. I felt so lucky that we've been so busy moving. Or else I'd probably be on my floor covered in black and blue bruises. The meal was quick and simple. Just some eggs and toast. I'd just put down my fathers plate when he walked in. 

"I see you learned you're lesson, b!tch." 

Nodding in response I sat down and ate the single piece of toast I was allowed. Patiently waiting for father to finish so I could clean up. 

"That was somewhat alright, but I expect perfect. Or else next time there will be consequences." My father growled out before standing up and marching back to his room.

Slowly I stood and washed the dishes. Looking at the time I realized I had five minuets to get to school. Grabbing my bag I ran out the door and mentally prepared myself for the long run to school. I'd be going to the nicest school here: Kohona high. We lived in the poor part of town, and honestly if not for my grades I'd be in one of the schools down here. But I worked hard to get into this school and I'll be damned if I'm late.

It was like any other day. I'd get up and get ready for school. Quickly eat breakfast before waving goodbye to my brother and going to pick up the dobe. As always as soon as I pulled up to his house he'd be outside with that stupid grin on shouting far too loud for this time of day. 

"HEY TEME!"

"hn... dobe"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"Then don't act like sucha dobe, dobe"

"TEME!"

"Dobe"

"TEM-"

*sigh* "its too early for this, stop being so troublesome."

"HI SHIKAMARU!"

*double sigh* "Naruto be quiet"

"I AM BEING QUIET LAZZY AZZ!"

Finally pulling up to the school I parked in my normal spot. The three of us got out of the car and started walking to the rest of the guys. Finding them where we always meet the dobe started up his shouting... again.

"HEY GUYS!" (Naruto)

"GOOD MORNING YOUTHFUL NARUTO!" (Lee)

*munch* "morning" *munch* (Choji)

"hn" (Neji)

"..hn.." (Sasuke)

"troublesome" (Shikamaru)

"Good morning Naruto" (Shino)

"WHERE ARE THE GIRLS!?!"

"We're right here you BAKA!"  (Ino)

"G-good mor-morning Na-naruto-Kun" (Hinata)

"Sup guys?" (Tenten)

After our usual greatings (which take like 15 minuets) we'd settled into our normal small talk. I'd tuned them out right up 'till something Ino said got my attention. 

"Did you guys hear? Apparently we're getting a new student."

"Troublesome woman new students are normal."

"BUT Shika its so late in the year and I hear the student is only getting in due to their grades."

"Hm, so this new student is on a full ride due to their school performance."

"HOW YOUTHFUL! MAYBE ITS A CUTE GIRL! OR A STRONG MALE! THIS IS ALL SO YOUT-"

Thank god for the bell. Though what Ino said is true.. this is quiet unusual.

I made it to the principals office right when what I'm guessing was the second bell (meaning everyone else was already in their classes) rang. Knocking three times I waited 'till I heard a muffled 'come in.' Slowly walking in I bowed and closed the door. Then I took a seat in front of a beautiful woman. 

"Ah, you must be our new student. Haruno Sakura?"

"Hai."

"I'm the principal, Lady Tsunade."

"Nice to meet you.."

"Well, I see you got your uniform and books. Had you been here earlier I would have shown you around. But now I can't. Here is your scheduled..  you're one smart girl to have ALL advance classes (things such as P.E. and electives don't count). Your homeroom teacher is outside. He'll take you to your first class and hopefully he'll find you a guide. Hatake!" Turning around as the door opened I saw a man with silver gravity defying hair and a mask covering half his face walk in.

"Haruno this is Hatake Kakashi and he's your homeroom teacher," nodding to show I heard her she continued "Hatake I trust you know what You're to do?"

"Hai Tsunade-sama"

"Then get to class!"

I was sitting in class with Sasuke, Naruto, Choji, and Shika wondering where the hell Kakashi- sensei is. Right when Naruto was going to open his big mouth again the door opened, and in walked our missing sensei.

"Yo." All around the room you could practicality hear the whole class sweat-drop. "As some of you may know we are getting a new student today. I expect you all to treat her well and welcome her here." after those words we all watched as a lovely girl walked in. She had bubblegum pink hair and piercing green eyes. "Go ahead and introduce yourself.

"I'm Haruno Sakura and I'm happy to be here." It was hardly even a whisper and had one little sound been made we wouldn't have heard her. She must just be shy. 

"Alright, any questions?" She looked up with fear in her eyes as one by one half the class shouted questions.

"You new to town?"

"ya single?"

"Is that your real hair color?"

"Why'd ya come here?"

"Is it true you can't afford to go here?"

"Are you here so late 'cause you're some kind of slut?"

I was way past annoyed. Standing up and slamming my hands on the desk I shouted "ALL OF YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!" The room went silent.

"Well then... Sakura... you can sit... hm.. between Sasuke and Naruto" (AKA the only open seat).

Slowly Sakura walked over keeping her eyes to the ground the whole time.
