The last thing Mae wants is her mother to find out how weak she really is.
EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Mae of DunBroch is a princess in her own right. Much like her mother she is rebellious and does not follow tradition or the eagerness to learn social etiquette. However, that does not mean she is immensely bold and daring. She enjoys a lengthy book to read out by the enchanted lake, not riding around recklessly with a bow and arrows.
When the children from the Isle of Lost first turned up, she was as worried as everyone else. But then she was introduced to Evie, she was smart, flirty and hilarious. From the outside world Mae had hearts in her eyes every time she looked at the blue haired beauty, they could Evie also felt the same even if neither of them knew it yet.
Each confided in Doug, confessing their feelings for each other to him daily. Doug finally has enough and slips up in the secret keeping department.
NOTES:
— Mae is the daughter of Merida, most likely adopted because I don't see Merida picking up a husband anytime soon, but maybe you could make her have a wife?
— Because Elle has ginger haired gifs and blone haired gifs, I think it wold be cool to see her transition from blonde to ginger as character building. Maybe she's born blonde but wants to be more like her mum, strong etc so changes her hair too.
— The title is inspired by the song Lavender Blood by Fox Academy. I kind of thought that Evie is blue, Mae is red, red plus blue is purple aka lavender.
— Mae is somewhat like her mother, in the sense that she is stubborn and headstrong but she's quiet and doesn't tend to draw attention to herself. She is also very smart and organised.
— She's good friends with Lonnie but spends most of her time with Doug because they're similar in personality.
— Doug is how she meets Evie, she is very shy around her but Evie finds it mysterious and enticing.
— She is at first scared of the villains due to her worrying nature but she doesn't prejudge them, she's just scared of what they could be capable of.
— Mae and Evie become good friends but neither of them go past light flirting.
— Before Family Day, Doug has enough of their complaining and accidentally tells Evie about Mae's crush on her whilst Mae is coming round the corner. Mae later has an argument with Doug and probably has a little cry about everything overwhelming her.
— On Family Day Mae keeps to her mother and three uncles and doesn't do anything when people start disliking the villain kids.
— But then it's all a nice happy ending and you can chose if you want to carry on to the second movie.
