"I should be off," Wolf said. "Thanks for the WA-ffle, it was... interesting"

"Actually, you know what?" Wolf glances at the patrons and then to the barkeep, "Come with me." she whispers near the side of my face. "You look worried, don't be."

"Let's just go do something." she pushes her hair back, "I got a tip on where we could find some decent loot. Why am I telling you all this? Well, you're not from around here, I just figured why not? Kind of silly isn't it." She looks to her side, her face is thin almost frail, her neck stretches up to her sharp jaw, she looks back at me, "If I feel generous then you may get a cut," she grins "You have two seconds. You in?"

"I'm in."

"Good, pack your stuff and lets head out."

"Now?"

"Yes now, come on, come on!" she says as she starts flipping her mask over her face, getting off her stool.

We exit the establishment. She hooks left around the corner of the tavern to a thin dark alleyway leading to a large wall.

"This leads out of town." Her mask distorts her voice.

She leaps over the wall, gliding over the top. I climb up and flip over. As I land, I step on a brittle crystal, it crushed under my boot, after which a moment it then turns to powder.

"Be careful, Blue," she says harshly.

"Yeah, I will," Blue says. We walk along on a beaten path, large slabs of cracked stones and old machinery line the sides, the trees are sparse as but soon after we seem to get engulfed as we walk further from town. The day is hot and sticky.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"I told you to be careful, Blue" she replies.

The forest gets thicker as we traverse deeper. They're dark trees with menacing branches, looming. The path starts to fade and the sun starts to set.

"Hey Blue," she says. "What's your name?"

"Nobody ever gave me a name." I stop walking. "You can just call me Blue, that's fine with me."

She looks back her wolf mask looks violent. "I don't particularly like that name."

"Me neither," I answer honestly.

"You rarely see Blue folk around here, you know?" Wolf said. "I think I'll call you Waffle then."

"Waffle?" Blue Boy giggles at the thought. "That's a silly name."

"Its better than Blue, no?"

"Yeah, it's much better."

"Ok, let's get a move on, the sun's going down."
