Chapter 4

After school at Marian's house.

"Omg!!! I can't believe he remembered!" Mariana screamed after what Lexus had received from Ezra.

"I know right! Okay it's already 4:30 and I have to be home at five so I better get going."

"Are you sure you don't want a ride? It's gonna get dark and cold soon."

" It's okay, I want to walk home. I'll text you when I get home."

Lexus got a serious headache as soon as she left Marian's house. Once she was about 15 minutes from her house, Lexus collapsed on the side walk and stopped breathing. she woke up to a person shacking her.

"What's going on here ?" Lexus asked very confused.

"Honey you were passed out and you weren't breathing for almost a minute." The random women said.

Lexus got up and started walking home. Her headache got even worse by the time she reached her house. her whole family was setting up the dinner table and her mom was finishing the salad. 

"Hi honey, how was your day? Did you get anything at school? Did anyone say anything?" 

"Hi mom. Um, my day was interesting. I got a poster from marina and Tyler and I got some sweets, a card, and balloons from another friend." 

"Hmm, that must be some friend?"

"What?"

"Well when you said that you smiled really big and your face was all flushed."

"Mom!"I said looking at my dad,"I was just very hot and from walking here thats it. I'm going to my room to take a shower. Call me when dinners almost ready."

Lexus went to her room and dropped her stuff on her brown hanging egg chair. She connected her phone to her small speaker and placed them both in the bathroom then turned on the shower with hot water. Her favorite song had just came on when she realized that something was wrong.

Lexus got light headed real fast so she finished up washing her hair and reached toward the handle to turn off the water. As soon as she turned the knob it instantly came off and was crushed fully in her hand. In awe, Lexus got dressed fast and went to her mirror in her room and started to look at herself, but really look at herself with all full attention.
