"𝘕𝘰, 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦... 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦... 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦..." I heard him whisper in my ear as blood ran down my arms from the huge cuts I had made in my arms, pouring out of my arteries. I had finally gotten tired of how others had been bullying me, and ruining even the chance of a semblance of normality for me. Now I lay curled up in the hot tub in the backyard of my parents' two story  home. I watched my blood merge with the hot water as my vision rapidly darkened.

"I'm sorry, Logan. I just can't handle it anymore. The bullying, the hate, being constantly misunderstood... I just can't do it..." I whispered as tears slowly trailed down my cheeks. I dimly heard screaming, in what sounded like my mother's voice, as I slowly drifted into blackness. I heard him one more time, just the quietest whisper in the back of my mind. "𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘵..."

I was in a garden, walking along and gently caressing delicate blossoms, occasionally stopping to admire a particularly beautiful flower here and there, while the moon cast its silvery light down on me. Eventually I came upon someone standing in the middle of the garden path. My breath hitched when I saw who it was. "Logan!" I ran to him, my white-blonde hair flying behind as I launched myself at my best friend.

"Daire!" He greeted as he easily caught me, and hugged me tight. I squeezed him as hard as I could, then let go. "Where am I? I thought I died when I..." I blinked my gray eyes at him, biting my lower lip.

"Daire... you're in Paradise... but it's only temporary...Your body is undergoing heavy surgery in the waking world." He smiled sadly. "I know what you're probably going to say, Daire. You don't belong with the dead. You still have a long life ahead of you. Go back and live it, for me if not for yourself. experience all of the things I'll never get to."

"But..." I started to protest, but he cut me off by pulling me in and kissing me, long and soft, yet hungrily, the kind of kiss that can leave you breathless. We eventually broke apart, and I felt my eyes start to well up with tears. "Logan...." He ran a hand through his raven-colored hair, seeming a little awkward. "I never told you this, but... Daire... I love you. I have for the longest time. And I can't prove it to you like I planned, but I can tell you this: Go back, Daire. Live your life. Have fun. Be happy. I'll always watch over you, and when it is actually your time, I'll be waiting with open arms. Now... Go."

"Her vital signs have finally stabilized. She's very lucky to be alive right now." I dimly heard someone talking, and whimpered softy. I was immediately hushed and heard comforting things whispered as I drifted off to sleep.
