She shook from fear and anger towards her sister , a look of pure hatred clouding her gaze , she pulled out her phone as she stepped out of her mother's cozy house , dialing a very familiar number then put the device up to her ear , she called the closest male friend she has besides her father ,
" hello ? " the husky voice of the male envelops her ear ,
" hi Corey , sorry for bothering you " the young girl says starting to regret disturbing the boy ,
" No prob girly , what's wrong? " he asks a concerned tone lacing his sleepy voice ,
" got in a fight with Aseeya again " the 18 year old says starting to choke on her own words ,
" I'm coming , you're at your house right ? " ,
" no , I'm in front of the Starbucks on sunrise " she says feeling relieved that he's opting to pick her up .
After half an hour a black car pulled up in front of her to which the 22 year old boy hops out and wraps his tatted arms around the female's body ,
" want to talk about it ? " he whispers in her hair to which she shakes her head refusing ,
" ok , come on let's get you in the car before you catch a cold " he says as he walks the girl over to his car , both sitting in silence for a couple of seconds ,
" well since you're staying with me for a while , do you want me to drive over to you're Mom's house to get clothes or do you want to borrow some of my ex's ? " Corey asks looking over at the sad teenager who shrugs
" I don't know" she mumbles as she look out the window ,
' i have to cheer her up somehow ' Corey thinks , a smile stretches across his face , he reaches to the stereo in the car and puts on the ' all hope is gone ' album to which the girl instantly perks up , a smile graced her futures , her velvety voice singing every word , Corey chuckles and joins her with there little karaoke fight , they sung for the remainder of the drive .
Once they got to Corey's house , Corey guided Safia to the bedroom she usually stays in , she hugs him and bids him farewells ,
" goodnight girly " Corey whispers ,
" goodnight big mouth" .
