Chapter 15

I made my way down the hall with Austin who met me up in front. Dinah had detention in morning cause she said something along the lines of 'Well I'm sorry if I don't freaking understand when you teach this crap. Did you even go to college?' The teacher didn't really like that so she gave Dinah detention. I shook my head remembering how Dinah was whining about waking up earlier then she was used to.

"Hey Y/NN you ready for the work out today. Coach said the boys and I will help you. You have two in a half months before the first soccer game. I'm sure you'll kill it. Form what I heard from coach and everyone else is that you're an amazing player so I can't wait to see you play." He said sweetly. I smiled, "Thank you Austin. And yes I'm ready for today." He smiled and nodded.

"Hey are-Hey Mahone Coach wants to us to meet him for football meeting in the gym." Brad said he looked at me and nodded slightly and looked back at Austin. "Okay um I'll see you later Y/NN." He said as he put the books he was carrying for me in my locker. "See you later Austin."

Ever since he talked to me he has been nice to me. He doesn't bother me anymore and he doesn't hang out with James anymore.

"Hey nugget." I looked to my side to see Lauren walking towards me with a smile on her face. I smiled back. "Hey Lo what's got you smiling that?" I asked in a teasing tone. Her cheeks turned slightly pink. "Aren't allowed to be happy to see my best friend?" I shook my head. "Not that happy. Are you gonna tell me who has my best friend smiling like she just won the jack pot." She looked down with the smile still on her face. "Is it that girl what's her name Jade?" She quickly looked up shaking her head. "What? No. It's not her." I shook my head with a teasing smile on my face.

"Sure you know she likes you, right?" I asked putting my art book in my bag and English notebook. I closed the locker and looked at Lauren. "Yea I know but it's not her." I felt myself pout slightly. "Then tell who it is." She quickly looked away. "No not the pout. But I will tell you when I'm ready, okay?" I sighed but then smiled. "Okay."

"Y/N can I ask you something?" I looked at Lauren as we made out way to Ms.Lovato's class. "Yea of course." She nodded and looked a head. "What would you do if I dated someone older than me?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Well what can I do. How older?" "Uh like let's say nine years older." We both walked at a slow pace. I looked her and she looked down at me. "Um well I mean you are 18 and you could do what you please and if they make you happy than I'll be happy for you but I would kick their butt if they hurt you." She smiled and raised her eyebrows at me.

"Okay I won't but I'll make sure Normani and Dinah do. No one hurts my best friends." She smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't care if they're are older than you as long as you're happy and they treat you like a princess and just love you with all their hearts. Than I'll be happy for you." Lauren smiled and wrapped her arm around my shoulders pulling me in close.

"God I love you Y/N. I'm glad we're best friends and-Jauregui hands of my girl, just cause we're best friends doesn't mean I won't give you a poly beat down." I chuckled and looked a head to see Dinah making her way towards us. Once she reached Lauren and I she pulled gently into her chest. I smiled and pecked her chin. "Yea whatever Hansen you try and I'll give you a Cuban beatdown." Dinah looked up to give Lauren her famous glare. But Lauren already went into class.

The girls and sat in cafeteria eating our lunch with Austin. "Hey Y/N I have to exercises that could help with you leg. When I fractured my leg freshman year I did this work out and look at me now. Playing ball like nothing happened. Here look." Austin said with smile as he dug into his backpack taking out a small packet handing it to. I smiled and took the packer. "Thanks Austin it means a lot that you want to help." He smiled and waved me off talking to Lily who was sitting next to him.
