My name is lexi.. I've never felt at home with Jason's family.. I grew up in the wrong side of town. We had to fight, or sell ur body out. " Lexi honey we gotta go but you need to stay with grandma for awhile." My mom said panicking. " Mommy how long will you be gone?" I asked looking up to her. " Lexi baby I'll be gone for a little bit." She said looking down at me. " Mommy don't go!" I yelled. But by the time I looked out the door she was gone. Grandma took my side. " Honey Mommy will be gone for awhile.
*3 years later*
Dear diary- Moms been gone for 3 years now.
Schools starting up again and I don't wanna go to the new one.
First day.. of a new school..
I walk Into the class.
"Hello my name is Mrs. Reed who might you be?" She said happily.
" I'm Jenna!" The girls smile brightened. She looked over at me.. " And who might you be?" She asked smiling like her life was on the line. " Lexi.." I said shyly. " I'm Katie." The girl next to me said. " My name is Jenna." She said with the brightest smile. " Lexi.." I said.
*later after school*
" Jenna, Mom will be worried." A boy said coming around to her. " Sorry guys I gotta go!" She yelled walking with him. " Who's that?" I asked to Katie. " That's Jason. Her brother" She said.
