I never thought that I would see him again. But he was there walking right in front of me. And it wasn’t just my imagination, it was real. He was there. I called for him, saying his name repeatedly but he wasn’t able to hear me. So I followed him until he entered the last place I thought he would be in. I called for him again but like the first time, he didn’t respond.

I was tempted to follow him again. But it would be difficult for me and for him as well if I did. I can’t enter that place right now in broad daylight. It would really raise suspicion. No, I won’t be able to talk to him now but sooner or later I will have to. For today I should just rest at my own dormitory. It would be difficult if people saw me in this place for rogues. It would really get a lot of attention.

I will wait until tonight. It would be the perfect timing. Everyone would be very busy minding their own business and partying. I could just grab him and bring him in a dark place where we could be alone and maybe catch up a little bit. Yes, indeed. I should talk to him tonight.

It was already dark when I came back to the world with the hope of seeing him again. Good thing I have so much time­­ to sleep. I was really energized and excited. I had been hoping these past years for him to come, and lost that hope. And now it was like a dream, he was here. My happiness is now within my reach.

I was standing outside the rogue dormitory when I spotted a familiar face. His monochromatic blue eyes as I’ve remembered them still dazzles while he was gazing the stars. His slightly long hair danced with the night breeze making him more beautiful. I sighed, this night was perfect. It was just like the nights we’ve been together. Only now it’s better.

He was gazing at the starry skies and I was watching him from below. In my calculation, he was at the third floor of their dormitory. 'Could he be thinking of me;' the idea made me smile. And then finally as if he heard my heart calling, his eye went from up the skies down to the ground where I was standing. And our eyes did meet. I saw a glimpse of recognition on his eyes and he smiled. My heart leaped in joy and I smiled back at him.

I finally found him: my Star, my only light. It had been really dark nights all those year that have passed without him, now finally I could see the light. He was shining at me again, my Star, my guidance, my life’s direction and my only love.

He was then waving at me. I felt like I owned the world. I walked fast. It was like I could jump that three floors difference between us just to be with him. I was about to wave back when he spoke.

“Hey Jer, you’re back early?” I was confused. Was he talking to me? Or did he forget my name? Or maybe he mistook me with somebody else?

“I couldn’t just leave my best friend alone in his room could I?” I heard somebody from behind me. I looked back and there walking calmly right behind me was a guy with blond hair. He was as tall as I am and was wearing black jeans and white polo top opened near the neck showing a part of his well toned chest. “And besides all those ‘suit’ party are boring. Those guys need a proper training in throwing a party. They suck at it.”
