Howley's POV

I felt the rays of the sun on my eyes. I let out a groan.

My head was killing me, like very badly. I slowly opened my eyes and turned to see a sleeping Connor.

Adorable.

I traced random designs with my fingers on his magnificent white skin.

The pain in my head got worse and worse by the second. I groaned softly, not wanting to wake up Connor. After  5 minutes of groaning, I felt Connor moving around. He most likely heard my desperate calls for help.

"Howley?" He asked groggily.

"Hmmmm." I hummed.

"Turn around to me  Howley." He said softly.

I turned around to him and his eyes widened in shock.

Do I look that bad in the morning?

"How do you look so good in the morning?" He asked, looking at me with soft eyes.

"I don't know." I whispered.

He ran his fingers through my hair, as we stared at each other.

"When will you smile for me?" He whispered sadly.

"When I reach true happiness."  I answered.

"Aren't you happy with me?" He asked, looking all over my face for answers.

"Yes, I'm happy, but not completely at true happiness mon amour." I answered rubbing his cheek.

"I want to give you that happiness, true happiness." He whispered.

"You will mon amour, you will." I assured him.

I winced in pain, as I rubbed my head.

"You have a headache?" He asked.

"Yes." I struggled to get out.

"Hangover, you're not going near alcohol again." He said, before walking out the room.

I stood on my knees on the bed and wrapped the soft blanket around me.

Connor walked back in with a small box and water.

"Here. Put this in your mouth and swallow it with the water." He instructed.

I did as he said, not protesting. I fell back in the bed and snuggled into the pillow.

"You're so adorable." He said, sitting on the bed.

"I'm a warrior, not adorable." I protested.

"Whatever you say Howley." He said smiling.

I turned my back to him and scowled deeply.

Why does he say these things?

"Howley don't be mad at me please." He said softly, placing a hand on my shoulder.

I shrugged it off and curled up into a ball.

"Howley, please don't cry, I'm sorry." He apologized.

"Warriors don't cry." I said proudly.

"Yes, you're my warrior." He said snuggling beside me.

I turned to him and looked into his dark brown eyes.

"Do you feel better?" He asked looking into my eyes.

I nodded my head in response and put my face into his naked chest.

"Wanna go get ready?" He asked.

"Yes please." I answered softly.

Connor got out of bed and I stood on the bed and stretched.
