You and your best friend are wandering through the Magic Kingdom at DisneyWorld in Florida on the American east coast. Your birthdays fell on the same day so for your nineteenth birthday your parents financially joined forces, so to speak, and between the four of them were able to put together enough to not only let the two of you stay there for a full two weeks but to also have a bit to spend on the side as well, knowing that because it wasn't the sort of thing you'd do nothing too extravagant would have been thought of even momentarily.

The two of you were wandering past a group of the Disney Princesses talking about the trio you had just seen when your right shoulder connected with someone else's, sending you for a bit of a stumble forward before a man in front managed to stop you from falling completely. "Thank you so much for that" you managed to speak as you looked up and immediately looked into his pale blue eyes, recognising him in an instant as Richard Armitage, the actor you had first fallen in love with, oddly enough, when he was playing the part of a Dwarf king-in-exile.

Noticing what was going on straightaway, your friend apologised to Richard before whispering in your ear that she was going to look around the Magic Kingdom on her own for a while, quite clearly hoping that something would come of you and Richard being left alone. "Well I think I should have introduced myself to you first up; I'm Richard" he said as he held out a beautiful large hand, "I know who you are" you replied in a tone of voice that hinted at embarrassment but he slightly laughed and assured you that you didn't have to feel so embarrassed.

"No need for embarrassment it is actually a bit of a relief that someone knows who I am and is still able to successfully restrain themselves against attacking me" laughed Richard as he offered an arm to you, which you happily took as you continued to walk around, not caring who was looking at the two of you one bit, every once in a while catching Richard staring at you out the corner of your eye but keeping a neutral facial expression so that he didn't know you'd caught him, eventually coming across one of the Magic Kingdom's many easy-food restaurants.

It was about 3:00pm before you finally checked your mobile phone and found that a quick message from your best friend had come up; saying she was going back to your hotel room as she wasn't feeling all that well. You apologised to Richard, telling him what the message said and that you had to be getting back to your friend and your shared room at the Disney All-Star Movies Resort, which Richard told you was the resort that he too was staying in while he was there for his two weeks, leaving you to wonder if something was going on.

Walking back into the hotel lobby with Richard, the soles of your flat sandals made it sound as if you were actually wearing high heels, which at 5"11 was something you knew you did not need to even worry about, even if it meant that you looked to be about two to three or so inches shorter than Richard was, not that it mattered because, as luck would have it, four doors separated your room from his. With a broad smile that reached his sparkling pale blue eyes, Richard gave you a soft kiss on the cheek before he walked away.

"You did that on purpose" you said in a civil tone of voice to your best friend when you got to her on the sofa in your room as she sat there with a Cheshire Cat smirk threatening to just about take over her whole face before she started laughing. "Of course I did" she replied as she laughed, "That look on your face Y/N when you saw that Richard Armitage had stopped you from falling was to be honest really quite priceless and I knew that if I left you two alone you'd get on as well as you did".

Even though you tried your hardest to be angry at her, the fact that you had known and had been friends since kindergarten made it a little difficult for you but what she didn't know was that Richard was preparing to return to your hotel room door and ask the two of you if you would be interested in accompanying him downstairs to dinner that night, though you had a suspicion that your friend would feign some mild illness just to get out of it so that you had the chance to be alone with him again, although still in public.

And you were right; she told Richard that she still had a bit of a headache and wouldn't be all that much fun if she were to join you, so after he stood and waited just inside the door for at least 15 minutes, the two of you were heading back downstairs but only after you had shot a pointed glare in her direction as she stood at the door watching the two of you leave when you at the very least hoped Richard wasn't looking to see how you reacted and much to your immense relief, he was completely oblivious.

The only downside to an otherwise amazing day was when Richard told you between meals that he was leaving in two days but because you both lived in London, he wanted to keep in as regular contact with you as his schedule would allow and your initially down mood did a complete U-turn into happiness when you heard those words because you felt as if you had found someone special in Richard. "I realise you admire my work and I appreciate that of you" he began as he took your hand in his, "But i'm hoping that we could become more".

To be saying the very least Richard's words had absolutely floored you because this was you had honestly thought this would be the last time you would ever get to see him again but to hear him say that he wanted to see you on a more regular basis once the two of you made it back home to London was the last thing you were expecting him to say, and he especially appreciated the fact that you were able to control yourself around him in spite of the fact that you had told him that you knew who he was.
