YOUR POV:

My birthday was coming up in a little less than a month. My mom really wanted me to celebrate it, but she could understand if I didn't want to. Anti completely respected the fact that I didn't like celebrating myself. Neither of us liked drawing attention to ourselves. I guess that just adds to the list of things we have in common, though I wish I could add one more.

My friend Lizzy however, didn't care of I didn't want to celebrate my birthday or not. Although then again, she never did. I never let her put on a big party with lots of people. I only allowed her to invite 1 or 2 people, but never a crowd. Today, she was actually coming over to mine and Anti's house. Not for much, maybe make a video. But other than that, she's just coming over to hang out.

Me and Anti were cuddled up on the couch when his phone started ringing. He picked it up, and looked at the screen. He looked at me quickly.

"What's my favourite colour?" He asked.

"Green?" I asked, a little confused. He answered the call.

"Yellow?" He winked, and smiled. I tried to hold in a burst of laughter.

"Hey, Natemare!" Anti said. I tried to listen to what Nate was saying over the phone, but I couldn't hear him.

"Sure. A friend of Y/N's is coming over too so it'll be a little hang out."

"What's he saying?" I whispered.

He put his phone to his chest. "He's coming over today." He put it back up to his ear.

"Yeah, her birthday is coming up. Why do you ask? ... No she doesn't really like being celebrated. ... Well her friend wants to throw her a party. ... Okay, I'll see you later then. ... Bye."

"What was that all about?" I asked nervously.

"He wants to throw you a party too." Anti sighed.

"Why?" I whined.

"He's been trying to get gigs to DJ parties and such. Ever since that special date I made for you, he's been trying to make it big in the music business." Anti explained.

"But isn't he already? Since how Nathan Sharp is actually pretty big in music?"

"Not really. Natemare helps behind-the-scenes a lot, but doesn't get to actually perform. He's trying though."

"Cool." I smiled and looked back at the TV, noticing that the movie we were watching before, was now over. Up next was Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. I widened my eyes for 2 reasons; because I love the movie, and I could finally bring back the topic I've wanted to ask for almost a year now. Anti tried reaching across me to pick up the remote. I grabbed it, and held it out of his reach.

"L-let's watch something else!" He stuttered as he stretched his arm.

"No!" I giggled. "I like this movie!" I threw the remote across the room. "And, I don't want you shoving this question away from me anymore!" I pinned him to the couch, crawling on top of him so he couldn't go get the remote.

"W-what question?" He asked nervously.

"Anti, you know exactly what question. Why is it so dangerous for me to be a demon like you? What do you mean about the demons 'kinda' being born in the Underworld? Please, answer me. I need to know."

He sighed, and closed his eyes. "Fine...you broke me." I crawled off him and sat next to him, my whole body turned towards him.

"Let's start with the demons being 'born' in the Underworld. Technically, we were sculpted." I tilted my head in confusion.

"Once Hera, the goddess of families, gave all of our 'base humans' life, she put all of the clay figurines she made out of them in a not so safe place. Hades went to that place, stole them, and brought them back down to the Underworld. Then, he carved them out a little bit more to make them demon looking. For Jack, he made me. But for some, they got 2 or more. Like Mark." A shiver went up my spine from the thought of Dark. Anti grabbed my hand.

"It's okay...I'll never let him take you again." He kissed the top of my head, and continued explaining.

"Then, we were all assigned to go to that human we were orginated from and be their demon, or demons."

"Okay, so there's one question. The other please?" I begged.

"In order for a human to become a demon, they would have to go through one simple act, and test another demons care for them."

"That's it?" I asked. "Well that seems easy."

"I'm not finished...they would also have to go through an immense amount of pain, and I couldn't bare to watch you go through it. It would break my heart..." His eyes started tearing up.

"It's alright. You don't know what I've gone through my whole life. I'd rather go through that to be with you forever, rather than go through it and still be alive and alone afterwards."

"I'm sorry but I don't wanna take the risk." He said.

"Okay..." I started. "If you don't want me to go through it, I won't." I lied.

I didn't care about the pain. I've been through it all my life. At least if I went through it, I would get something I wanted, and that's Anti. As for all the other times, I escaped the pain with nothing but suffering and sadness. I couldn't take it anymore. But for now, I decided to agree with Anti. But until this topic came up again, I would leave it alone on its shelf, dusting it off once in a while.

"Thank you for understanding." Anti said as he grabbed my waist and leaned his forehead on mine. He started to kiss my cheek, but he slowly and nonchalantly moved down to kiss my neck. I giggled, but pushed him away lightly.

"Sneaky bastard..." I said quietly.

He laughed quietly. "Sorry...I guess I can't help myself sometimes..."

"Yeah, yeah. Let's get ready. We've got guests coming soon."
