It's almost Christmas here at the London Boarding School! It's getting colder; We started calling Louis daddy/dada/papa/dad, and the other boys Uncles. Our birthday was yesterday! December the 19th! We turned the big 10! Double Digits Baby! Yeah! It's been about 4 weeks! So... Yeah! I'm bullied by older guys who are 12-13, though. That sucks. We are getting our report card today... A red file means that it's bad grades, a green file means; Way to go! And, a yellow means; Eh, it's okay, but you could of done better. As Louis handed me my folder, I looked at the color; It was yellow. So... I wonder what they are. I opened the folder up and took out the white slip of paper as I looked-

Alexander's Teacher Comments-

TOMLINSON, ELA- Alex is a fine reader and writer, but his STAR Scores need to be improved as he has too much confidence for him to actually get higher than a 700, which is his current score of 712.

CALDER, DANCE- Alex is a great dancer, very impressed by his way of eloquence. He is always on time, ready to learn, and loves to help. Alex is a great student.

HORAN, GUITAR- Alex is a fast learner and has thing for Guitar and everyone should know that.

TOMLINSON, SOCIAL STUDIES- Alex has a potential in this class for greatness. He is very cheerful, and the class is great everyday.

MALIK, PAYNE, GYM- He will not run, he usually doesn't have his clothes for gym, as he forgets, and he does not use sportsmanship.

I shut the folder, sucking in a breath. Louis is going to be mad! I looked up as he began teaching class. "Alright, kids! You know that your guardian will punish you or reward you based on your results and-" He stopped sentence as his gesture returned to me, and I cast my eyes downward, blushing. "And I cannot. So, I guess we can get on with our lesson! Go get your LEAD books." "Jordan?" I mumbled as I looked at him. He was 14, 4 years older than me. "Yeah, bud?" "Can you get mine, please?" "Sure thing-" "No, J. He can get his himself. You know, he needs to burn off some of those fat carbs he has on that body." Derrick, a bully snickered. "Leave the poor boy alone, Derrick. He's done nothing to you-" "Enough with that bullshit! He's done something; He's alive." Tears fled my eyes as I blinked them away and watched as they bicker back-and-forth. In that time, I stood up, slowly, and walked to the cabinet where the L.E.A.D books were placed, as my head was placed down. I picked up the red book with a pair of pants and ear-buds coming out, and walked back to my seat, but a hand was placed on my shoulder. I turned, and saw Louis. "Hey, bud... What's wrong? Why are there tears in your eyes?" He softly asked, as his fingers caressed my cheek. I wiped my eyes, shaking my head. "I- I'm fine... H-Honestly, boo..." "Li's on his break, babe. Want me to call him down to come get you?" "No... I'm good, Lou." "Alright, love. Go back to your desk, and I'll let you read a page of the book when we get to a good one, alright?" I nodded, and walked to my desk. I sat in my seat, and Louis said, "Okay! Go to page 78 guys. It's starting the Habit 2, now... Who knows why do we have to start with the end in mind?" Everyone raised there hands except me, and I heard Louis sigh. I get that I'm a disappointment, but, he should understand why. "Max?" "You have to begin with the end in mind because you can't do something without a plan otherwise it won't go right." "Good explanation! But, guys. We cannot build a bird-house without a plan, we can't write a essay without a plan. So, let's begin reading. I'll read first..." I turned to the page just as he began. "It's a rainy day and you're stuck indoors. You and a friend decide to put on some music and do a jigsaw puzzle, for old times' sake. You pour out all 1,000 pieces, spreading them out across a large table. You check out the lid to the box to see what you're putting together. But there's no picture! It's blank! How will you guys ever be able to finish the puzzle without knowing what it looks like? If you only had a one-second glimpse of what it's supposed to be. That's all you'd need. What a difference it would make! Without it, you have no clue where to even start. Now think about your own life and your 1,000 pieces (at least 1,000!). Do you have an end in mind? Do you have a clear picture, even an idea, of who you want to be one year from now? Five years from now? Or do you feel lost? Habit 2, Begin with the End in Mind, means developing a clear picture of where you want to go with your life. It means deciding what your values are and setting goals. Habit 1 says you are the driver of your life, not the passenger. Habit 2 says, since you're the driver, decide where to go and draw a map of how to get there. 'Ummm, hold up,' you might be thinking. 'I'm too young to have an end in mind. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, and frankly right now I don't care.' If it makes you feel any better, I'm grown up and I still don't know what I want to be. By saying begin with the end in mind, I'm not talking about deciding every little detail of your future, like choosing your career or deciding whom you'll marry. I'm simply talking about thinking beyond today and deciding what direction you want to take so that each step you take is always in the right direction." He finished reading, looking up, and smiling at us. "Who ever feels like you never know what you want to do when you grow up?" I raised my hand along with a lot of the students, and he grinned. "That's fine, guys! The reason you don't know, is your note apposed to know yet. Keep living your life along the way with your family like everyone else does. Okay, Alex. You read Begin with the End In Mind and what it means, okay? Go." I nodded, and looked at the text to start reading with a clear voice. "You may not realize it, but you do it all the time. Begin with the end in mind, that is. You draw up a blueprint before you build a house. You read a recipe before you bake a cake. You create an outline before you write a paper (at least I hope you do). It's part of life. Let's have a begin-with-the-end-in-mind experience right now using your tool of imagination. Find a place where you can be alone without interruption. There. Now, clear your mind of everything. Don't think about texting your friend; forget about that zit on your forehead. Just focus with me for a second; breathe deeply, and open your brain wide. In your mind's eye, visualize someone walking toward you about half a block away. At first you can't see who it is. As this person gets closer and closer, you suddenly realize, believe it or not, it's you. But it's not you today, it's you as you'd like to be one year from now. Now think deeply. What have you done with your life over the past year? How do you feel inside? What do you look like?  Has your personality grown? (Remember, this is you as you would like to be one year from now.) You can float back to reality now. If you were a good sport and actually tried this experiment, you probably got in touch with your deeper self. You got a feel for what's important to you and what you'd like to accomplish this next year. That's what beginning with the end in mind is all about. And it doesn't even hurt. As Jim discovered, beginning with the end in mind is a powerful way to help turn your dreams into realities." My throat started to itch, so I stopped there, and looked up. "Can it go onto someone else, please, sir?" "Sure thing, bud, who else?" The rest of that class was a blur as I didn't pay attention, thinking about today. It's a Friday, and every Saturday, we go to the indoor pool. As the bell rang for second period, I was dazed, so the bell startled me. I shook myself out of my moment, and stood up, gathering my materials which consist of;
